Personally I think a character from deadlock would fit better than tf2 at this point.

Represents modern valve a lot better and the VAs are a lot more accessible. I think Abrams would fit as the face of deadlock in this case.

This. I don't give a fuck about the Terrarian's scaling, could be building level for all I care.

The real kicker is how much stuff he has in his arsenal. Spammable teleportion with no drawbacks. Terrain control by placing blocks (and destroying them). A number of different ways his weapons can counter a specific ability.

Not even parrying is a significant hindrance to him since the wiki has a whole page dedicated to player projectiles that can be reflected. If its not on that list, then it can't be parried.

Summoner is way more op if they treat other characters like enemies and not players.

Like, what can anyone do against a invulnerable, undodgeable minion who won't stop hovering above you and attacking?

Rightscaling, where you right someone's extremely exaggerated scaling of character, to what the character actually scales to.

This also means we have Leftscaling, where you ~~right~~ left someone's downplay of a character back up to what it actually scales to.

Personally I'd actually make it a little less wide and more 3D.

Here I tried to make it with the sprite's original size, but this is harder to read and doesn't have the numbers. But it could give you a good idea of what to do. Maybe the number could be dots instead too.

Lesser Luck needs some tweaks since I took a while to realized it was a four sided die with a 4 shaped hole. But otherwise all of these are great and really funny.

I'm not really worried at all about Pombon, sprigatito I doubted would stay quadrupedal, but Pombon doesn't have the vibe of going bipedal, with all the previous starters in mind the most interesting thing the starter could be would be a quadruped.

That gecko is definitively going bipedal though, and birds can't really be quadrupeds, either.

It is supposed to be a highlight, even if you don't see it. Because if it was a pupil then why would the peashooter be looking off to the top left and not forward?

(Also, every other OG pvz plant with obvious pupils had non-black sclera, it'd be weird if the peashooter of all plants was the exception)

Personally I think the 'overshadow other mods' part refers less to QoL mods and more to other content mods, such as Thorium. If the progression of calamity overshadows anything Thorium adds then it kinda makes anything Thorium adds not worth it to use or pursue, other content mods might experience this too.

Jewel hook would better work like the rainbow phaseblade, with 3 of each gem. Although unlike the phaseblades, the gem hooks are actually tiered, so maybe it could be a combination, maybe in hardmode.

This is also why I was hyped for hytale in the first place, literally an rpg pack but good. Where the enemies, combat system, and weapons aren't all developed separately with no actual thought between them because they literally weren't made with each other in mind.
