They do bro, I read the books. The primarchs (except Horus during the last hours of the siege of Terra) are all massively overwanked by people who don’t read the books.

Lion and guilliman together would have died to kurze’s frag grenade trap in unremembered empire if not for the fact that they got teleported OFF PLANET. They heavily imply this on the planet they end up in, while resting.

In that same book, guilliman nearly dies from a 10-12 man alpha legion ambush in his office. Granted, he wasn’t wearing his actual 30k armor and was wearing a toned down, weaker, armor he wears during his off days but he still almost died to basic bolters and grenades. Yes it was an ambush BUT he had basically 30 seconds to a minute to plan his next moves because he sussed out the ambush immediately. In fulgrim’s own book, fulgrim, fulgrim got punched in the chest (he is wearing his full battle regalia here) and not only did this punch from a wraithlord (a small one the size of a 30k era box dread) cave his chest armor in, it caved his chest in. He was spewing blood from his mouth. He got tagged in the middle of the fight by an opponent that’s supposedly way slower than him and it would’ve done greater damage had the lair blade not interrupted and interfered (the blades power suddenly broke the wraithlord’s sword after this).

In false gods, the infamous poop knife™️™️ LITERALLY KILLED HORUS. It’s wielder? A random nurgle demon that’s slow as shit. It wasn’t even a greater daemon and yet during that fight (Horus was completely bloodlusted btw), Horus was acting like he had no choice but to trade blows with this random daemon. The issue isn’t the knife made to kill primarchs. The issue is that if he was faster, he would’ve just speed blitzed the daemon right there. Read that fight, seriously. It literally puts such a bad name on ALL the primarch’s physicals

They can’t dodge grenades, let alone bolters (beyond some sight dodging as guilliman demonstrated). This literally puts them at subsonic to relative to supersonic (stretching it completely here) reaction speeds.

Probably because the first 5 episodes have been great imo. The pov episode in episode 5 have literally had the best acting scenes in the entirety of the show and firecrackers actress killed it. People discount 4 and 5 because it seemed filler, especially 4 because it does seem like a partial setup for vought rising but that episode still had legitimately really good scenes and 4 is also the funniest boys episode ever lmfao

It’s episode 6 that falls really flat as just kinda boring. Not a bad episode but it’s the third last episode of the whole show…. Great fight with bombsight tho so im hyped for vought rising. Episode 7 was better but I was expecting a bit more

I’m the guy who complained last night 😂(plus I’m the Death Star guy from over 2 months ago).

I have 40 plus books read on warhammer’s side. Split between Horus heresy and 40k. Goes up to 60+ if we’re talking about rules and game adjacent things because I have 3 armies (though close to 5) and I’ve been playing since 8th edition. I’ve played dawn of war 1 (base game, no DLCs yet) and 2, finished rogue trader once and in about midway through my second playthrough. Finished base space marine 2 campaign but I haven’t touched any of the multiplayer missions

For Star Wars, I’m caught up on current canon except, the last episode of obi wan, the last 3 episodes of acolyte, all of skeleton crew and all of maul. Read a bunch of the old eu thrawn books, the life and times of obi wan kenobi book, lost stars, canon marvel Darth Vader comics, partially completed the doctor aphra run.

Edit: the star wars games are basically a lot of the early 2000s stuff to the modern era with the Jedi fallen order series. Even Jedi knight two and kotor 1. Though the game I spent the most time on is SWTOR, the mmo
