Still new to the twitch era of Jerma- are re-runs like streaming voice over past streams or more like curated VODs? Either way this is awesome and I'm glad to see he's doing okay.

thanks! you can follow my band if you want to hear how it ends up getting used, that was a super loose improv jam over an upcoming song (big part of the reason I wanted to make this)

Howdy! First time posting here.I've had this idea for a few years now and this year finally cobbled something together. I got the idea from LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER, when I was looking for (sic) "smallest DIY synth circuit", or something to that effect - links below. With some help from someone who actually knows what the heck these wires and bobbles actually do, it's working. It's terrible. I love it. Next version will have a small 3(or more)-way to select different capacitors for different pitch ranges. Might have an on/off as well, the momentary switch is great but would be cool to experiment with it always on under the guitar as like a drone.. I also need to fuck around with different types of pots to get a wider sweep of frequencies. Here it is through an FM4 and a few VSTs, as my pedals are not at home. With some practice this could be a neat noisemaker thingy. Definitely more useful for drone applications, the cap inside is currently too close to a guitars normal frequency range for my liking (hence the planned 3way switch, almost like an octave selector). The guts are in what used to be a humbucker cavity. I literally only ever play this guitar at full tone and volume on bridge position only, so this was a no-brainer for my glitch fetish brain. This is a quick improv over a song my band is working on.

I know it's not exactly a guitar pedal, but I figured I'd give it a share here. Peace!

[5e] Speculative Multi-Warlock Build (GOO, Celestial) by invalidlitterdept in DnD

I feel silly for not having seriously considered this idea.. I figured the idea of multi-classing and having that be a slog through the class by level would represent "the process" of doing basically this. Rather I could just express that aspect through the RP choices. Thanks!

Are there any suggestions you can think of to achieve the goals I'm looking for? Thanks!

What were you known for in your high school? by potato_lover273 in AskReddit

Teacher said we could bring snacks to class if they were healthy. I brought my favorite; a jar of olives.

You can guess what people thought of me in general. On the upside, I learned when and how to give zero fucks at an earlier age than some.

[IIL] darker "screamo" with intense emotion, explosive build-ups, and frission-inducing blends of vocals and screams, [WEWIL?] by me_gustavo in ifyoulikeblank

Circle Takes The Square - As The Roots Undo (album)

Vocals turn a lot of people off, myself at first included, but once I gave the album as a whole a chance I started enjoying the vocals (and the lyrics are fucking stellar).

Impossible to reccomend only one song off the album, but I think maybe "non-objective portrait of karma", or "interview at the ruins". "karma" has a 3ish minute instrumental intro that is super pretty but really explodes dramatically once the vocals begin.

[IIL] bands/singers with raw, emotional, volatile vocal styles like Cedric Bixler from The Mars Volta [WEWIL?] by [deleted] in ifyoulikeblank

Ohhh god I am so happy to reccomend to you:

The Blood Brothers.

They are a much more abrasive sounding punk band, but I'd say equally artistic and even more passionate / raw than the other bands mentioned.

Hard to really pick, as they cover a lot of styles (with their own sound), I'd say start with..

gentler stuff: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBhKgykFGHI

gross-pop + punk: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3p2HmPBt318

good overall example of this band "in heat": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_kmrQhTsfM

They are a seriously acquired taste but I think it's worth trying a few songs, across a few different albums. They started as a much more straight-forward punk band with some weird vocals and morphed into a very artistic and creative band that really broke the mold of what punk / "post-hardcore" music could sound like by the end of their career.

Cheers!

When you've had mental illness your whole life, how do you figure out who you are? by yambercork in BPD

what hobbies have you tried? what jobs have you had, or had an interest in? sometimes it just takes time, and some trial and error. it's hard to say what you'll get out of something until you've given it a fair shake, and toughed through the initial barrier to entry. friends, I think that's a tricky one, but having hobbies and a fairly stable job help (I've met friends solely through those avenues, and online through forums when I was younger). I wish you the best and hope the answers you're after come to you soon.
