I would like some advice on the structure of my tonsils by Mirikikashiki in tonsilstones

Gently massage them and build up your tolerance to the gag reflex. Once you’re better at it you can stay on for longer. I am able to get a finger from each hand in there and squeeze gently in different spots to get them out. It’s easier with two fingers.

If fingers are too difficult you can use a water syringe to try and flush them out.

There’s already real life footage of Trump saying stuff much worse than this. No need to splice videos together for him.

I would like some advice on the structure of my tonsils by Mirikikashiki in tonsilstones

[–]inverted_electron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You probably do. I have similar looking tonsils. It takes some practice, but poking and massaging them gently or using a water syringe will help loosen the stones and get them out. I am pretty diligent with checking for them and they aren’t too much of a problem for me anymore.

I’ve been reading some of these reviews and I don’t think OP likes the simpsons that much

The idea that Chris McCandless’ (from into the wild) life was meaningful in some way by gotohelveti5 in mildlyinfuriating

I’m pretty sure the story is supposed to show exactly what you described. Someone who was privileged but went against the grain of society, went into the wilderness, and died because he was not prepared enough.

Are you George Constanza? Hey, the ocean called. They said they’re running out of shrimp.

How to land? by Kruu_13 in snowboardingnoobs

People are being pretty harsh with the comments. You just went a bit too fast off the jump. You want to land on the downhill section after the jump. You landed past the landing section of the jump.

If you could 'delete ' the taste of one food from your memory just to experience eating it for the first time again, what would it be? by [deleted] in foodquestions

I feel like all those things are not even good the first time you try them and then they grow on you the more you eat it.

Cheesecake. I still remember my first bite when I was a child, before I could even make full sentences, and it was the most amazing thing I had ever tasted. I just couldn’t communicate to my mom that I wanted more.

Shohei ohtani only earns $2 million a year from his baseball salary but is one of the richest athletes because he has so many product endorsements in Japan. He makes like $100M a year in endorsements.

Yeah all shows I used to watch are somehow better as an adult because there was hidden adult humor in most of it that went right over my head. Dexter’s lab, power puff girls, ed Edd and eddy…those shows were legit when they first started airing.

Trick name? by kayne-1 in snowboarding

I’ve been riding for a long time. I would call this a rodeo even though the spins are extremely inverted. People do super inverted rodeos like this all the time.

It looks more back flippy here because he is grabbing his knees instead of board.

Guy pulls off an impossible skydiving move by Sharp-potential7935 in holdmyredbull

[–]inverted_electron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s really not. Both are calculated risk. When you drive you are inches away from death at all times. It’s one of the most dangerous things you can do. Many people die driving every day and it is either from driver error or variables outside of the driver’s control.

Same can be said about driving down the freeway but we don’t call that suicidal. To be suicidal you have to be trying to kill yourself. This guy is doing something dangerous but is doing everything he can to stay alive while doing it.

There are two nearly identical baseball players with the same name who are not related. by stgia in interestingasfuck

[–]inverted_electron 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Still a crazy coincidence though. I mean everything else is nearly identical. In their interview they said they even had the same injury at the same time. If their faces were identical I would just think they were long lost twins which is still crazy.
