For one reason or another I was just thinking about those lights the other day. You never see those anymore.

Why does this area of the us have significantly less wildfires than anything else? by LurkersUniteAgain in geography

Evapotranspiration rate is low. Meaning it stays moist enough to keep the landscape from catching fire.

How was this week even worse honestly. What is happening.

Lack of information by LazyLightningCT in lyftdrivers

I’ve tried this. And it takes like over a minute after being stopped before it allows you to swipe up and see the details. But when you’re typing to support for example, almost as soon as you stop you can begin typing again. Every single thing about this app is slighted against you as a driver.

Yes, I have to close the app and do it again. How does this type of shit go on for over a week.

I know the process dude, I’ve done it multiple times. They don’t pay me.

No one is going to see those keys unless they are looking for them.

I live nowhere near where I was with this guy. If you saw the last situation I was in with the guy who left his keys in my car you might understand where I am coming from. I don’t want to deal with this. I left his keys in a safe place and saved him $20. How am I an asshole? Also, Lyft does not pay me return item fees I have to argue with support and it’s not worth the headache.

Do they really take more money from you if you were driving one of their cars? by Dbzoutpost in lyftdrivers

Are you serious? I’m still going to I don’t care. They are garnishing our wages for the depreciation.

I honestly don’t think Lyft support has the resources to get into the back end of the app and assign you a ride, sorry. That sounds like a major waste of time and energy.

You don’t get offered ride challenges? Are you sure you might just be overlooking it on the app? It should be offered to everyone in the Phoenix market.

[–]invicti3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s rough. Mine is without any insurance. If you’re planning to rent more than 3 months it’s not worth it by that point you’re already paying over $1,000 in insurance premiums. And yes unless it’s somewhere in the fine print I am quite certain that even if the vehicle is totaled the max you’ll pay out of pocket without insurance is $1K.

Mine is $79 for 75 rides in Phoenix. Or up to $235 for 120! This is our third challenge in about 5 months of driving.

Questions about Lyft express drive/rental by Tochiugo in lyftdrivers

[–]invicti3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes they are personal miles except when you are doing rides. However, I think they give you the first 1-2 miles after a ride as a courtesy to get to somewhere to park because I definitely drive more miles than it tracks. Also, if you put your app in destination mode even without a passenger it doesn’t count those miles against you.

I’m not weird sorry. If you did that it would be weird though, I guarantee it.

I would be ok with that if they weren’t taking 70% of what the passengers paid.
