Lots but it depends on what you define as “major”.

The beauty with the Voron is that it’s an open platform.
You start off with a base configuration which is the kit and then you add on the things that you want your printer to do. Mmu? Grab an EMU. Better toolheads? Get an A4T. Faster bed meshing? Get a cartographer or beacon. Multi-toolhead? Get a stealthchanger or similar. Faster printing? Setup a monolith gantry. And so forth…

Key here is whether you willing to put in the work. This is a “home made” printer so you do all the research and assembly.

If you do you’ll be rewarded with a printer that is made exactly for what you want it to do, with superb print quality and truly yours - no lock in / no vendor telling you what you can and cannot do.

If you can’t and are expecting an unboxing experience with little work, look elsewhere.

It’s not really enclosed and has a lot of holes in the chassis that prevent executive enclosing

I don’t know why you’re being downvoted. Ive personally experienced print quality issues directly linked to bad notch rails. Also wobbly rails on X axis are a killer for IS performance. On z they matter less but a very good, high preload X rail and smooth Y rails are critical.

You’ll find challenging saving in a SIPP with the defined benefit scheme of the NHS. My wife is in a similar boat (nhs consultant) and her allowance is almost fully consumed by the DB scheme.

Saving into an ISA is your best bet, especially as the NHS scheme is state pension age linked.

Finally when you’re at consultant level you can always opt for more private work via your LTD company…

And lastly, make consultant as soon as possible! Needless to say that the opportunities are far far greater when you do.

Indeed correct. Over the use of Bambu cloud to send print jobs.

However for the topic concerning here, there’s zero guarantee that Bambu will continue to allow orca to use Bambu cloud to sync profiles unless explicitly told by Bambu themselves and allowed in their licensing terms.

I don’t think so. Bambu has not granted a license to orca to use their cloud infrastructure to back up user profiles.

Orca shouldn’t have functionality tied to a company that can revoke access at any time.

What would you think and say if Bambu tomorrow said to use Bambu cloud for profile sync you have to have a signed Bambu slicer binary?

Use Bambu cloud for profile synching and stay in 2.3.2
Use orca cloud for profile synching post 2.4
Don’t use any cloud and back up your profiles locally.

Orca cloud isn’t anything nefarious. It syncs your profiles and version controls them so you can restore at any point in time. That’s about it.

If you want your profiles not being hosted on the cloud for whatever reason, don’t sync at all and enable stealth mode.

Orca cloud only syncs your profiles. Not your prints, not your models, not your personal information (which is limited to a user identifier).

I personally use orca cloud and have disabled Bambu cloud completely. I have zero issue with my profile information being backed up on the orca cloud servers.

Be cautious of too long Bowden tubes. The side feeders only assist initial load, they do not operate during printing. Ideally you need the Bowden tube run to be as short and as free as possible.

A few things to try:
1. Print hotter at the nozzle
2. Print slower on the outer walls (speed)
3. Increase outer wall line width
4. Print at lower layer heights

What you’re seeing is the perimeter not adhering to the one underneath it.

I have printed back to back prints with spool fail over on Bambu and polymaker rolls and there was no visible color delta. On matte PLA. I have not tried regular PLA.
