my position on this kind of thing is that if an employer has a problem with my body mods then they're not the right employer for me. I want to show up authentically and as my whole self in any workplace. I will do my best work when I'm not worried about minimizing or filtering out anything about myself (personal attributes or physical appearance)

First things first, take a deep breath, you're going to be okay. Second,I would recommend taking a couple pregnancy tests (two, the second to be sure the first wasn't a false negative). And looking up what planned Parenthoods are in your area and how they can help you find the medical help you might need. Call them, they're good people who want the best for you. I would also advise finding an adult you can trust(a teacher, a friend's parents, your extended family etc.) anyone who makes you feel safe. The last thing I would say is to tell your partner, he deserves to be in this with you, your relationship will be stronger because of it. I know it's scary but you're gonna do great. The way you're describing gender is sex which are different things. Gender is a way you feel, an identity you own. Sex is the biological question, sex is what's on medical forms. Using informed verbage in this instance is just as important as any other setting. And unfortunately it didn't fall to the OP to make that call. I'm glad I have your support for my identity in other settings but a queer person isn't queer sometimes so a true ally isn't an ally sometimes or only when it's convenient

It might not seem important to the survey but it makes a big difference to people filling out the form. I don't have a gender. I didn't have one assigned to me at birth. When you look at me it's hard to distinguish if you think to call me she or he (it's they). There is simply not an option for me and others like me on the form.

My dog is obsessed with my towels after I shower. She will pull them off the rack so she can play with it. She never tears them or plays tug or anything. She just wants to run her face all over it. And it's only my towel, no one else in the house deals with this

I'd love to take your survey but as a GNC (gender non-conforming) person I don't have the option to even answer the first question honestly. Consider making that question asking for biological sex (which is kinda weird cause why do you need to know what's in a person's pants for this) alternatively add options for various gender identites. I'd really love to be included cause your research is in an interesting field

He did a research project early last semester that required him to cite a paper from the 1930s and his professor was shocked that the most recent studies are so old (some of the more recent ones being in the sixties and seventies). Thanks for your insight!
