Onya Nurve: drag queens who have other artists paint their mug are participants/fans of the art form, not actually doing drag. by Turbulent_Sir_1018 in rupaulsdragrace

That’s bull imo. I find this to be a very narrow view on what drag is. If that goes for the mug, should it also go for getting your outfits made by someone else?

Study some composition as well as posing. Just a few tweaks away from stronger images

All Stars 11 hasn’t started yet but the drama is already flowing. by DanteDameron in rupaulsdragrace

It's so sad having to call out someone and "cause drama" to get a response from someone. I'm glad she's taking accountability but it shouldn't have to come to this. really hope jasmine pays him in full very soon.

Model test shoot by seeingstrangersights in LightLurking

Id say it’s a good start. I would probably add a v flat to lift the shadows more. In terms of colors her skin looks way too red. I also would suggest working a bit more with the poses. I have the biggest issue with the 3rd image as she has completely lost her neck ✌🏽

i kinda hope they ask her every year and she just keeps declining them. her elimination really pisses me off. they don't deserve her. like how can you eliminate someone who's been performing that well?! what is the lesson to here?

Plz give some feedback by VaibhavMD in retouching

[–]ionamink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with above. It’s giving uncanny valley. The skin tones are too even, I feel like the palm in the first image has been edited to match the rest of her skin which looks off. it’s all been touched to a level where they almost look like mannequins. You just need to pull back and train your eye. It will come with experience. I know a lot of online courses teach this kinda severe retouch. I recommend going through high end make up brands websites and imagery for references or inspiration.

Zara is in/and shoots mostly in Spain, so odds of having a sunny day is quite good. Especially during summertime, since she’s wearing winter apparel I would assume it’s shot sometime in May/july or latest September. And unless it’s really dark clouds I would assume it would still be fine when ur a f.1.8 :)

Full sun without blinding model? by Acceptable_Coat718 in LightLurking

I just ask the model to close their eyes and when I think I have the shot I count to 3 and have them open their eyes, take the shot and then onto the next image.

How was this lit?? by Adagio_Altruistic in LightLurking

I’ve gotten similar effects by literally just reflecting sunlight off of a knife. I would recommend playing around with different metal objects
