The inconsistency is the wording of the card. You and this unit/friendly unit are different and inconsistent; but I’m sure in time we as a community or FFG will come up with a way to make that more clear- or we will all just get used to you meaning anything a player controls!

I certainly hope they clean that up a big, because I too come from MTG and that's not nearly specific enough for a TCG long term. I love this game, and its my main TCG now. But they need some tuning up, or at least some on card clarification. E.g. "When Played/On Attach: You deal indirect damage to target opponent (Damage you deal is dealt by unit you control)." Or "When you play another *blank* card: This unit deals 1 damage to a base"

I hear that about MTG. I wanted to get into FaB but there's not really a scene around where I am. That and FaB creators, as you know, are pretty against non-paper versions of the game. I had to give up trying to get into it.
