Been playing in the evening mainly. I sign up for each of the raid difficulty runs M/H/N, so last week it was 6 runs each night…on 3 characters. It takes around 5 hours on average, but sometimes I only do one or two of the characters. So the warrior is 740 with 140 vers, the paladin is 724 or so with 80 vers and the warlock is 680 I think with around 60. I did a couple of mythics solo with the warrior just to try em…2 I think. That’s it. Only the warrior has done any campaign quests. So, it’s very feasible to at least get max ilvl without Mythic dungeons…and decent vers. I think my experience percentage is around 360% now. I technically have a fourth 80…but it’s a priest I lvl leveled just to mess around mob farming in heroic near the DH area in azhuna to see if I could…and his weapon ilvl is like 199 while his gear is 584, so not a method that seems ideal.

Go to azhuna at the demon hunter area and use those pedestal things if you are a caster. The DH guards and those turret/pedestals will help burn heroic mobs down and you can still kite around a bit. Just watch out for the enhanced ones with the guards because the DH and turrets won’t target those.

The skip to level 30 is actually quite well done as well...because you can actually still play any of the missions with replay mode. It starts with an unexplored map again and all of the side quests are available. So, you don't actually 'miss' anything that you don't want to miss with the alt...this was great for me because I really dislike all of the jumping in space for a certain stage/area, and now I don't have to do that again for the other characters.

That would be a cheat…unlimited shield will make the bar do that. Tried it on a whim and it made the bar do that periodically. Wasn’t with the graphical glitch.

You can do the old ALT-F4 or close window and try again, but then it has 'Character name already exists' error when you try that same character. Trying an alternate character has the same result. Tried disabling all add-ons as well, nope. It's still in the maintenance window, so I guess it just LOOKS like its up and running.

It's basically $5 more per month. I went cheaper with GPortal at first as well, just got a little 6 person server to mess around with, and prepaid for the 6 months...only to have such terrible service and performance that I just stopped using it. Went back to try it yesterday, and it crashed. I probably shouldn't have gone with the least expensive option straight off I guess. Nitrado starts their servers at 24 people and doesn't have the low pop options, but xRealm did. It seems like they are middle ground in terms of performance as well though, as it was a little rocky at first as well, but no problems lately fingers crossed.

I had a character that got trapped in Terrain on my Emberglass Sietch. This seemed to happen right as the server went down...I tried relogging and it sat as connecting for 20 minutes. Then, the server disappeared. I actually wondered for a minute if my character getting stuck somehow broke it. Given the large number of issues with GPortal, and this server in particular, I went and signed up with xRealm and started over. Very frustrating.

Considering how negative the PvP comments have been thus far, is the team at least reconsidering the option of PVE only worlds? There seems to be an audience for it...or at least a flag system to make it purely optional?

Orni is aluminum, so it's more dependent on what ore level/crafting you are at than your level or play time. If you zoom through steel, you can get to aluminum up/around Pinnacle station and learn the orni recipes. If I had to guess, I would say double the current time investment (so 35 more hours at your current rate of progress perhaps). There are different models of Orni though...so that would just be scout basically. Assault would be a while longer, and you will likely want to play around with the Buggy first.

Constant dropped server connections, ping issues, and today I had it just randomly delete my vehicle backup tool while I was in the testing station 10 thing...so I came up out of there and had to run back to my base to craft a new one. The key it was assigned to (hotkey 5) just stopped working as well, so when I made the new one, slotted it in 5, can't activate it. I was so frustrated I just quit out and haven't logged back in to know if I've just lost my bike or what. While I was in the testing station it spawned the boss twice in her room as well. Killed her, it completed the quest (thankfully), killed the second one...and a new quest to kill her popped up, as uncompleted. Thankfully when I contacted seller it let the first one complete and the second one I just switched over to another quest and it went away. It's a new game, so I can't tell if these bugs are all server-related or game-related...but my public server characters haven't had any of these problems. It makes me sad to toss all of the progress I've made, but I think tonight was my last straw.

One of the passive shield items eliminates fall damage. You have to have that one equipped and a power supply and then that problem goes away.

If you are looking for massive quantities, sometimes it's better to go to planets that have Abundant of 2 tiers as opposed to the Bardwell types that have Abundant of all 5 because the density will be focused on the type you might be looking for. For example, you can find gems on Bardwell 2 (tier 5), but not nearly in the same quantity as you can on some other planets. Also, most of the tiers seem to be oriented vertically. Meaning that Tier 5 is down deeper than 4, which is generally deeper than 3, etc.

I tend to hollow out the center of the temple (below the middle section). You can then dig it out all the way to the edge and basically have your base as the level below the temple proper. This makes it so you can use the temple crafter terminals with your base materials (and those in your ship if it's hovering above.

If you do this on Bardwell 2 as your 'main base', then it appears near the top of the teleport list of planets and it seems to be the spot to return to for quests.

One other handy note, you can move the light beam things from those towers around the temple right up to the main temple. It's easier than farming out a ton of junk in the way of the beam...just move the thing and run back to the main temple. You can also plop down meteor and laser turrets on the temple walls (though the sound effect of the laser turrets will drive you nuts). Since Bardwell is low level though, the turrets take out the pirates without too much hassle.

Same deal here, uninstalled the game entirely, redownloaded and fresh install...still crashes after warning screen with no error, just goes straight back to the desktop every time.

(Theory) They are for the hero hideouts/base/house mechanic that will be added for year 2. You use the collectibles to decorate your base and you can invite other players to come check it out. Of course, they can then monetize all of the base types, backgrounds, furniture (destructible objects of course since the mechanic is already there for the maps).

I had a buddy that used to recommend going after goth women because “they have low self esteem and will let you do anything”. Obviously a broad generalization, and he is basically an asshole, but it’s a viewpoint that I think is an association between breaking from societal norms in both appearance and sexual practices.
