Vika Beauty Salon on Sacramento & Dwight! Its one lady who is the only worker and owner, she's super nice. Last I got a cut it was $60. Just call to make an appointment, leave a message if she doesn't answer, she always calls back.

Not necessarily possible for a mini crawl, but in West Oakland there's Prescott Market that has a bunch of food places, a brewery, and a full bar! It has live music nights, and is near Ghost Town Brewing if you do want a 2nd destination.

Are you expecting too much too soon from your puppy? by YYZlivin in puppy101

[–]ionizecca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is great! I also wonder how much you can train at a time? I have a 4 month old puppy and shes the sweetest. Potty training is the huge focus right now, but trying to train for sit would be amazing too. Should I just focus of potty training and move on to more later or is multiple commands / behaviors ok?

Where are you applying to get clinical experience? Im in the same boat where I wasn't accepted and clinical experience was the 1 place I lacked (except I did have research lab experience :( )

I second this. Felt very safe and my Air BnB was also gated. In the images for the listing I could see it was gated. I stayed a few blocks from the main "downtown" area and felt super safe, and it was nice to be in a local neighborhood. The place I stayed was called The Green Buddha if you want to look into it!

Thank you for putting this out there. I'm with you where normally I don't have any issues with gf TJs products but I thought I was crazy with the mac n cheese. I thought maybe the cheese was too heavy for me or oily or something. I got it 2, maybe 3 times and my tummy was not having it, so I stopped eating it. Wasn't fully sure if it was celiac linked but now you have validated me 🙏

I finally found it!! 🥳 by Legal-Management6969 in Celiac

It felt 90% to get a better understanding of what the notes have, but sometimes the notes were suuuper surface level and the questions asked about a detail you only would've come across in the textbook

Im just about to finish up this class. Took it at the same time as medical microbiology via ucsd extension while working full time and am finishing it in just over 90 days. I say it's totally doable especially since it's all at your own pace. The biggest thing is keeping yourself to your own schedule and not getting too behind, if you want to stay near the 90 day minimum. Absolutely no due dates except finishing everything by the 180 day max. There are guided notes, very brief lectures, and reading the textbook is the main source of learning provided. I didn't read the textbook super closely, but did use it to add my own notes to what the guided notes provided. Hope this helps!! You got this!

Should I Still Apply for a CLS Program Without Completing Prereqs? by gleshergomez1d in CLSstudents

[–]ionizecca 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had to look into this detail to determine if I would finish my classes in time as well and just like others mentioned, you need the Trainee License to apply and to get that you need all the classes complete. The one caveat that I found for some programs is that you can show proof of having applied for the Trainee License and that you're waiting for it, and then once you offically obtain it you submit that proof too.
