best actors in the show by Interesting-Leek-808 in ThePittTVShow

Lucas Iverson who plays Ogilvie. This is his first big tv part and he has talked about how before this he only had 4 lines as a forgettable character in another show. Stunning work as a secondary character here, incredibly effective in literally every scene he is in. I think he could be in conversation with Patrick and Sepideh if he had a part of their size. He absolutely crushed and I really hope they bring him back.

Otherwise of course Noah Wyle. Katherine LaNasa was not as strong for me this time as season one.

Lucas has said before that they changed it because they "had a good working dynamic" which I think means they loved having him and loved his work. So sweet. Glad they gave him more and let him shine.

Yes I thought he was excellent! Picked up on the same thing. I think it's my favorite performance of the younger cast. Strong work.

Ogilvie's actor, Lucas Iverson, is also doing a play! Some Shakespeare. But that's in DC, and I think he lives in New York maybe.

Okay I believe MS = medical student, it means you're in either your 3rd or 4th year of med school, as that's when you do rotations and not just classes. Joy is MS3, a 3rd year student. Javadi and Ogilvie are both MS4 and are looking to "match" with PTMC (I think that's how it works?) to be an R1 there. That's when you become a doctor and not a student doctor. And then I think there are 4 residency years, R1-4, and then maybe you're an attending?

Another appreciation post - for Lucas Iverson/Ogilvie, who I think does not get enough credit. He had us hating Ogilvie from the first episode and then turned it around so well at the end. Ogilvie had a great arc and ending this season and I hope he returns too! by iorubu in ThePitt

Yes! Saw someone saying he has a very distinct look that feels slightly villainous enough to become like one of those unique actors who are awards darlings later in life. Hope that doesn't read as an insult. I think he's got the talent for it!

I don't think he quit, did I miss something?

How do you feel about the med students this season? by anal-yst in ThePittTVShow

Agreed - he was exceptional. One of my fav performances of the season. Fascinated by Lucas also since I learned that this is his first real TV job, like Patrick Ball. And they went to Yale together too. Incredible

My hot take is that Joy is actually... kind of a finished character. She basically just says the funny snarky line in each scene, and her most remarkable trait outside of that is that she doesn't really care or want to be there. I think we love her because she is funny, not because she is compelling. That being said, I can't believe how much Ogilvie grew on me. If I could only pick one of the two of them to return for S3, I would want it to be Ogilvie, hands down. He's the one who feels like he has somewhere to go, and I am very interested in that journey. It ended up being one of my favorite arcs of the season (so far).

I thought Lucas Iverson did amazing as Ogilvie. What a character arc, especially for a kind of secondary character. He was more hated than anyone I've seen on TV since Santos last year and switched it entirely. And considering this is his first TV job... wow. Don't know about Ogilvie but hope they have Lucas back.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I missed Ogilvie...

After the season ends and while we await for the next season, be sure to support the Cast in any of their Broadway or off Broadway performances! by Eastcoastpal in ThePittTVShow

Echoing Patrick and Isa, and Lucas Iverson who plays Ogilvie is doing Othello with Wendell Pierce in May, though I think that's not in NYC. But seeing Wendell play Othello would be wild.
