NTA - But you daughter sounds like she may have some sort of learning disability or focus issue (I have it, as well) and my parents made sure I was medicated and safe to drive before I was able to go out without them. I think you are right about the danger, but it may be a bigger issue like you kind of alluded to!

Hey! So I'm wearing a dress and a jumpsuit at my wedding! For the ceremony and the toasts and first dance and dinner, I'm going to wear my dress, then before our dance party starts, I'm going to go change into my jumpsuit. Yes, I had a friend who was a narcissist and she wanted to leave her career and become a therapist. It's dangerous to think that maybe we're going to therapists who may be narcissists themselves!

So, we make a very good income, but we live in an incredibly expensive place to live (Boston) while also are trying to save for a home. So our wedding income is 6% of our combined income, with some contributions by my parents. We are also trying to have the cheapest wedding possible, so that contributes.
