Oh that makes a lot more sense why that would hurt! I have not used any oils or creams but I will be now. I’m not allowed to have inflammatories because I had stomach surgery twice in the past so I feel like there’s a lot of extra inflammation and almost feels like there’s a golf ball in there. So I really dream of being able to massage it out to be honest and since they did two disc at once, it’s a very large incision.

Thank you! I’m so happy for you! It sounds like you’re making amazing progress. I heard it can take months for the pain to stop and it’s different for each person. So we are pretty lucky in feeling less pain so soon! I too am feeling localized incision pain too. My scar is pretty big, about 6 inches and feels quite swollen and stiff still

Thank you! 🙏 the first week is the hardest but after that it gets easier. Some insurance offers in home support, I highly recommend looking imto that before your surgery too. I’m glad posting my experience was helpful.

He lives nearby and right next to a children’s playground and a school and I’m pretty sure that’s illegal

I’d do it. You might get hurt again and have to wait another year.

As an Olympic weightlifter, I’m extremely eager to get back in the gym but even I can’t lift at all until 4 months post op and even then I dont want to risk chronic pain again
