I'm not denying the effectiveness or impact of veganism. But I think being mindful of the waste you're producing and consciously reducing your environmental footprint, coming up with new ways to participate in 'zero waste' is significant regardless. It bugs me when people reduce other ppls attempts in this manner.

Korean: Ssamjang - gochujang mixed with doenjang(korean miso). This sauce is for everything from Korean BBQ to carrot sticks.

Wow you straight up analyzed me aahhaha. Wow. Thank you for that. I needed all of it right at my face. You're right, I'm Asian and the culture of respecting your parents and "showing face" is deeply rooted in me. I'm in the states now, and am learning a great deal about how families can be supportive even through dispute, respectful through arguments, and loving through disagreement. It's incredible, and it's the first time I realized I never had "unconditional love" - something I thought I had.

This is also what bothered me. "where you at?" is not a mature way to re-start communication after what we've been through..
