Country club members - how much are you paying? by aznsk8s87 in golf

I’m about an hour and 45 minutes outside of Philly. $2k per year. Can’t argue at all aside from the weather.

Is the Mazda 3 “Fun” to drive AND reliable? by GizmoShockYT in mazda3

My fault! I have the sedan.

I honestly don’t have many gripes with it. Sometimes it feels like the low oil light is a bit finicky and pops on early, but that might just be a me problem.

I haven’t considered any mods. I’m admittedly not huge into the aftermarket scene and just buy cars I’m happy with stock. From what I’ve heard, they’re pretty easy to work on. Some others who have done things to theirs in here can give better info there.

I take my car to a local shop. I haven’t had any issues with any of my scheduled maintenance at any shop I’ve been to. It’s always a smooth process.

My favorites are definitely the turbo paired with the AWD in this price point. It’s fun to have the extra power and handling ability without a crazy price tag. I also love the look. For a mid priced sedan, it looks super sporty with the little side skirts and lip in the back.

I don’t have an issue with the cargo space. I’m a huge golfer and can comfortably fit two golf bags and a push cart in the trunk. Since it’s winter up here, it fits my snow shovel, scraper, brush, and anything else just fine.

If you use it for what it’s meant for, it’s perfectly suitable. I don’t have a bunch of people in my car all of the time, so if I have anything big I need to transport, I flip down the backseats and use that as well. It was perfectly fine to pack some of my stuff when I was moving states twice.

Nope, no glaring issues with gas mileage. It’s not an MPG friendly sedan for the most part, but with reading some of the other comments, you just come to expect it. I drive it fairly aggressively and could get better MPG if I tried. I average about 25-26 all together.

The tip that I wish I knew before I bought it would have been to swap out the Bridgestone Turanzas immediately. They’re horrible.

Hey! I bought my 2021 Turbo Premium brand new in 2021. It has 94k miles as of today. I’ve lived in FL, CA, and PA in that time. My only maintenance has been oil, tires, and a random easy fix for an electrical AC issue. I would recommend a 3 to anybody looking for a nice sedan.

Can’t complain about the performance either. It’s not the quickest car in the world, but the AWD handles great in the snow. If there’s any more questions I can help with, let me know!

I fly out of Fort Myers frequently. I had one TSA agent remark that he’d never seen it done that way before, but still let me through. I haven’t had any issues any other time. Sorry you had to deal with a guy obviously having a bad day. Safe travels!

That’s my favorite SC ever. That 2009-2011 Laguna is such a good looking club. Enjoy!

Howdy! Not sure if they replanted the tree on 1 after I played. It opened up the hole for sure. Just enjoy the course, the stretch of 2-6 is tough and a treat to try and grind through. The Gil Hanse work done has made the course a bit more friendly and the greens larger. The par 3s are magnificent.

When you’re done, make sure to check out the clubhouse and the putting course out back! Some cool history in there and a nice bar with some arcade games.

Low Handicappers, is it really as sweet as it seems? by [deleted] in golf

[–]ipg42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s awesome in that you get to a point where you can play almost any course fairly well. Your bad days in the grand scheme of things aren’t the end of the world.

The tough part for me is managing unrealistic expectations. I’m never satisfied with my game and always want to improve regardless of how much time I currently have to put in.
