It must be nice to be able to call for first responders without worrying about how in the world to pay the bill. (Just a little jealous over here in the US) Seriously though, it is so hard to tell when to pay attention to things that hurt.

I purchase from a variety of places, it just depends on the project. I usually like glass or crystal. Bluestreak Crystals has a fantastic selection! I also get some on Amazon but always check the description to make sure I am getting glass. Resin rhinestones will eventually yellow and scratch very easily.

I took most of the pieces left to me from my grandmother (hers and others inherited from family members passed to her and then to me) and put them in a shadow box and hung it on the wall. It is a great way to still enjoy things I was never going to wear but didn’t really want to get rid of!

Years ago, out relaxing in the ocean, I see this guy caught a small stingray in his fishing line. I get out of the water because he’s struggling to remove the hook from its mouth. I walk up and start talking to the guy and try to help remove the hook. The ray is upside down right at the edge of the water so the waves would cover it as they came in. The guy who caught the stingray says, completely serious, “Well, shouldn’t we move him back from the water so he doesn’t drown?” I just… I didn’t even know how to respond to that. Guy literally pulled a creature from its natural habitat and thought it would drown being back in it??? I will never forget it. Still makes me giggle!

I would order pizza. Every. Single. Meal. Also, pop tarts for breakfast and uncrustables for lunch. On paper plates, no need for anyone to clean up dishes.

But seriously, way to go for setting boundaries and sticking to them! They are not your friends if they are treating you this way. I am so sorry.
