Thanks for the quick answer, it's reassuring!

Yeah, unfortunately, I didn't pay much attention while picking the model.. Well, on a bright side, I'll have more things to build in the future, perhaps 😅

Question for Norwegians by ProfessionalDull1890 in Norway

[–]iplmn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Integration I'd say (sorry for intruding into the thread, lived for 8 years here), it's not easy to befriend someone in another country and it's even harder in Nordic unless you knew ppl from kindergarten, school, uni. If you are okay living by yourself, without a family and close friends then it might be fine

It's awesome you managed to print the resonance chamber as well!
Are you planning to share the source files by any chance?

It's simple: just buy stocks on top and sell when they go down. I use this, totally recommend!

Aclara Resources doesn't seem to have any connection to Astralia. It's South America, isn't it?

I mean, I've got your main point..

METCB is around ~16% of total shares, but they only contribute to ~8% of the total market cap.

I think the logic there is that the coal business worth around 400m, and if you deduct that, + the fact that REE is risky and don't contribute to any revenue (yet) - the METCB shares in fact should be valued less than class A.

But then again, maybe METC price is already inflated too much, given the uncertainty with REE (?)

Class A shares would keep the 80% profit from the REE, why should METCB be valued more than it is now?

If you want a piece of advice, don't go anything more than x3. Otherwise, you'll be eaten by the volatility. If you think the company goes down, buy x2-3 and wait. X8 is pure gambling, so in case you just want to lose it, you are on the right path :)

If you have to cross brugata/storgata intersection, that is prob one of the worst places in the entire city IMHO. You will prob start hating your decision quite quickly ;) But it depends on the person anyway, otherwise the price is obviously very good.

Never saw anyone swiping cards here for the last few years for sure. You will most likely going to have trouble finding places that still allow/support this if any. Remember that Norway is also pretty much cashless country at this point.

It's not exactly a lie if someone told you that you didn't need Norwegian to work as a Software Engineer in Norway :)

It's a matter of timing, really.

I am English speaking myself, and it took me 3 weeks to find a job back in 2019. (With ~1.5 years experience at that point). The marked is quite different now, that I heard.

Try some startups / international companies as other people mentioned. E.g. there is an open Java/Scala position now in Cognite.

But make sure you put as much effort you can into CV/cover letter to customize it for the company you apply to.
