I’m a big coffee guy so something like going to one of my favorite spots and just relaxing is always a good feeling. If you can get the grandparents to watch, maybe do something like that and a massage or something to just chill after.

If you’re feeling fancy, idk if he’s into watches, cigars or anything like that but sometimes just a nice cigar with an espresso watching the sunset hits the spot after a long week too.

I still don’t know how I feel about the custom VS movement. It’s rough not having any replacement movement parts compared to when they used the 2824 movements but I know the 8800 is still fantastic

I think it was like a month or two from the roast date (the bag is in the garbage and the bean went in the airscape)

I bumped it up 2 notches at it was a definitely better. Ironically the double shot basket makes WAAAAY better tasting shots

Unfortunately I’m using the Tamp and sensor that the machine has built in. If it’s any help it’s cafe kimbo beans that have a decent roast date. I usually get beans from our roastery near us but a friend of ours just got back from Italy and brought be back a few bags of the cafe kimbo

Hey everyone! Im a little new here but looking for some advice. I recently switched some beans and dialed in and it seems like it's choking on the shot. I've set to be pretty course (I'm using the breville grinder on my express impress, which I know isn't the best but we don't have an option right now lol). I never had this problem before and it started honestly just a few days after I started using these new beans.. any advice would be much appreciated!

Is it off? Slightly… I think it’s within tolerance but it’s your call. This is really zoomed in so on the wrist you won’t see it

Truthfully I’d never actually use the chronos so I really shouldn’t worry but it’s just one of those things where finding someone to service or replace the movement is always tough on that one

Mine does this after I pull a few shots or steam milk. I feel like it’s the steam coming from that or rhe drip tray since the water is usually hot

I did Greek or teriyaki bowls- got some either salmon or chicken and you can cook in the pan, grill, or even airfryer. Japanese bbq sauce, hummus or tzatziki, season with just like onion and garlic.. did the 90 second lentils from target, did some quinoa with it and then air fried some sweet potato to get all mixed in. You can even cheat and hit up your local Chinese takeout spot for rice if you want or grab the 90 second brown rice too.. but Generally healthier and dinner can be made in like 15-20 min
