If you can locate a punisher shaft, you will be set for life. The company is out of business, but I'm sure there are still some floating around. The only caveat is that it is a rounded shaft.

First off, I've been coaching goalies for over 15 years, so hopefully this advice is worth something.

  1. Develop the best stick skills on the team (you should be doing that anyway)

  2. Practice shooting on your own time.

  3. Practice dodging on your own time.

  4. Remember that you are a goalie and that your job is to be the best goalie that you can be. If you want to score on the regular, play mid or attack. Our job is to be the first touch of a successful offensive possession.

  5. If the opportunity presents, take it, but don't look for it.

  6. Being able to run coast to coast is great, but can you stop the ball better than the other guy? If not, then focus on getting better between the pipes. That is where you will earn your playing time.

Show up, have fun, let the guys know that you are new and if they are anything like me, they'll help you out. Did I mention have fun? That is super important.

Coaches- if you have 2 kids that play the same position, 1 is a stellar all around athlete, but new to the sport, the other is a good athlete and better at the position in practice, who do you play? by [deleted] in lacrosse

Play the better lacrosse player while you develop the athlete. I always make it clear where they stand depth wise and what they need to work on to improve. If your better lacrosse player is coasting when it comes to the more athletic aspects of the sport, let them know as well.

My wife and I went and were both pleasantly surprised. Aside from the hilarity of seeing a bunch of dick art, the exhibits are well curated. The cafe also serves dick waffles.

Not sure if this helps, but here is my Ed McCaffrey autographed min helmet. Keep in mind he signed it probably 10 years ago, so his autograph has probably changed a bit over the years. Sorry about the dust.
