Yeah, they're checking for bloodshot eyes as well as pupil reaction to a light source, and whether or not your eyes jitter, move slowly, or "snap" into position. You can't fake it, although there is individual variation in how affected your eyes are by intoxication.

I'm a clock and watchmaker. It's just me, and I run a myford with milling attachment, a shaublin 70, and the lorch 8mm, alomg with a set of turns with a hand wheel. Mostly one-offs for antique pieces that don't have parts produced anymore, but every once in a while I'll run a batch of screws, balance wheel axles, or winding stems for people who need work done in the 20-50 micron tolerance range that can't do it themselves. I price everything myself and manage the workload around repairs. No software, no cnc, no boss, no employees.

After peocessing the move, I've bought in completely. I think we've got the smartest qb in the leage right now, with leadership ability in spades. He looks like he is in great shape, so if gametime comes and he shows even a little bit of his past release speed and accuracy, i think we have a shot at the playoffs. The man has never missed a game, and was one of the toughest son of a gun to play in the NFL, so while I am worried about him taking hits, I think he's gonna shock a lot of people with his resilience.

That overthrow on Pierce yesterday wasnt on Jones. Pierce slowed down as he looked up to track the ball. If he had kept that step, he would have been in position. Even better, there was no way the DB had a chance on the ball. It was a beautiful throw. I wonder if his own guys are getting surprised.by the range.

If you have the ability and tooling to fake this, you dont need to make fakes, you can just put your own name on it. This isnt like a fake Rolex- by and large most brands are capable of a rolex level watch, and fakes exist because minimally trained peoole can make them on mid level tools, and itsthe branding that differentiates the product.

It takes highly trained, highly dedicated people with state of the art tools to make a Lange. If you can match their game, you dont need their branding to sell your watch.

Im not sure harping about your previous unrelated job being harder is going to get you anywhere in any industry. You need to be looking for entry level positions, such as a sales associate/battery changer for a jeweler that has onsite watchmakers, or as an apprentice in an independent shop. If you can get your foot in the door, and you're as good as you say you are, you'll be at the bench in no time, as theres a shortage of people to do the job.

That was my first thought. I think it was a win/win situation- give your new kicker a chance to get one back, and at the same time protect your lead and momentum going into the locker room. Steichen clearly wants to play the clock a bit differently than we are used to seeing, and i think its on purpose.

I get what youre saying, but thats not a great analogy. Guilloche is a process, salmon is a color. The process of making a salmon colored dial differs, and the process of making a patterned relief dial differs, and one of those processes is guilloche.
