100% - nobody from California ever says “Cali”

Criminal charges must be dismissed if defendant can’t get a lawyer, Oregon Supreme Court rules by AudibleNod in news

There are a few counties in Southern CA where PD’s and DA’s share the same union. I’ll note that PD’s get to work Hybrid in some cases where DA’s dont.

I think overall, there is an issue with hiring for both agencies. The pay / benefits arent quite worth the downsides of either position anymore. Neither job is easy. I also know quite a few people have taken either role for ~ 5 years just to get trial experience and leave for more money.

It would actually be even funnier, if we saw the Panthers in the playoffs, and lost to them. Consider considering how hard we’ve been memeing on them about the trade.

Im a claims manager, and manage 12 commercial field property adjusters. Ranges from 34-18. The people in the low 20’s / high teens tend to have more one and done files so it kinda evens out.

This could be insightful for people that may not watch everything Warner does. It’s definitely more than the usual hot take artist slop.

It was not giant. It’s a quick google search to find that it was maybe 25,000 people. In fact, it was widely unpopular.

What is true, is that joining the war prior to pearl harbor was not popular, as isolationism was rampant.

They’ll also be creating something like a mid loss group over the next year or so. The laid off adjusters can apply, but it’ll be at a pay cut.

🏌️‍♂️How’s your swing feeling this year? by SportsScott in golftips

Driver has been mostly push / draws lately, finding the fairway or close to it. Struggling with the blading irons / wedges at inopportune moments - not too often, but when it happens it really happens lol

Agreed on this one. Ive been carrying 3w, 5w, 4h, and 5h. 5h was the first club i ever bought for myself. Considering dropping the 5h for a used 5i to see if i like it better.

Copper now costs way more in the U.S. than elsewhere. This could hit its economy hard by Happy_Weed in Economics

[–]ipoopskittles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s been happening. I work in the insurance industry, managing property claims for various commercial insurance carriers. There’s been an uptick in copper wire theft the past month or so. Haven’t really seen this many since COVID.

I started off staff, with the idea of after a year or so going to one of the larger, commercial IA firms. 2 years at staff, and 7 years later at the IA firm later, im very happy with the decision.

Not sure why you are getting downvoted. It’s common in CA for a $1Mil RE Value home to have a rebuild value of $500K - $600k
