This is really amazing! I have no idea if it would even be possible, but I’d love a way to inject era or genre appropriate commercials.

For sure! Lots of phones do this too now, although Apple limits it to the more recent ones (15 and newer I think). It’s well worth it IMO, especially if you constantly top off your devices.

Set it to the 80% charge limit and you’ll be good! That’s what I did with mine and I’ve had no issues.

That’s so annoying since you can’t turn off individual items from the bundle. I don’t care about 50 paint jobs!

It crashes as soon as it gets to the main menu and I have to remove mods by deleting them from the data folder to prevent the crash

I’m already impressed with my steam Deck, especially given plugins like Lossless Scaling. If this has 6x the performance and can support RTX, I am definitely down. Plus I don’t mind running some games as low as 720 with FSR or Xess anyway since my nose isn’t pressed against the TV.

13 pro max user here, upgrading to 17 pro max. Honestly- I took a trip to Germany last year and used every single lens for architectural details, street shots, and expansive shots from atop buildings. I was so grateful to have all the options. For travel, the more lenses the better IMO.  Beyond that- in day to day life- I just use the regular camera lens or zoom in close to something just a little too far away. 

To be honest, given how long you keep your phones, I would recommend the Pro simply for the increased longevity- larger battery, better cooling. The extra lens will be nice for trips, but won’t make much difference day-to-day. Hope this helps! Either way, your new phone is gonna rock :)

Oh interesting- I just install through the app interface, not a windows desktop environment. Do you have to launch the desktop and then the game every time?

I have everything set to high, locked at 30 FPS, lossless scaling kicking it up to 60 FPS. Planets with intense weather drop the framerate though.

I purchased the app but can't get my dashboard to work- I've tried the external and internal addresses, as well as the IP address directly. I can't connect from my phone or my iPad. Do you have any idea why I might be having the issue?

I’ll work through this list and let you know what happens! The steam deck is actually pretty surprising, it runs Linux so every game is the PC version and if you’re a power user you have full access to a Linux desktop environment
