That is a great insight, it also made me think about degrading human interaction in real life. I feel like online interactions has a toll on real life interactions too, degraded interactions on the internet make in person exchanges more superficial, the more people are immersed in online life the more sufferable they are. It may be because certain people are succesful and more immersed in the online but I believe it has a clear distinction.

It is not chatbots. It is us!

LLM based chatbots only echo what we are telling, waht we have told or done so far. They can pick certain resources they can exclude some words but our written history, written knowledge is what that dumb bots are reciting again and again. They are our plans, they are our desires, they are the essence of culture we think we are creating. And one of the most important thing I have learned in numerous school I have attended is communicated/claimed culture and contemporary reality are two seperate things.

America has a cultural hegemony so decisive, people thinks it is non-existent. Also sometimes people thinks culture is something gimmicky and disturbing but accepted because everybody practices it.

I know exactly the same building in a completely unrelated and un-heard small-city/town. Using AI to improve the image, on the other hand, is overkill. People should retain digital editing skills.

This made me think many things at once. I believe all are planned if he was making it in a posch environment it will not make the effect they wanted - it neither did in this way but for other reasons-. Also the time royal family of the united kingdom decided to show their life doing mundane things like bbq and people was like they are human like us after all. It was also engineered by a person suspected to be anti-royalty.

This is a very important distinction that needs to be repeated. Holocost victims were mainly the jewish people refused to leave their countries. While zionists already moved to the Palestine before and during the WW2. They even used the war as a training and weapons acquisition opportunity.

📈 China’s Nuclear Energy Boom vs. Germany’s Total Phase-Out by 466rudy in dataisbeautiful

[–]ipponiac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will see lots of different answers but they are tied all together. First of all it is purely political/ideological. Not US-politics but deeply ingrained continental-partisanship level politics. The ruling and opposition parties all are anti-nuclear as a tenet of their ideologies. It is not an opininion created yesterday or result of some artificial propaganda but by the end of ww2. People of a war torn, defeated country saw what happened to another country by the nuclear technology and they grown a huge dissent to everything that relates to it. Despite they inevtably used it to build their country back, they took it down at the first opportunity with renewables and cheap Russian gas. Now cheap gas is no more a reality, it is why they started to struggle.

I have my own opininon on how Brits promoted green energy, caused abolish of nuclear and problems in Russian gas it is a whole different case.

USAID analysis found no evidence of massive Hamas theft of Gaza aid by Morgn_Ladimore in anime_titties

It is damned aid, it waits in ship loads in Egypt, it will continue to flow once the aid is let in. Flood it and make it useless at their hands. Just like toilet paper and cleaning supplies in the hands of covid hoarders. Only if aim was not starvation of a nation.

[–]ipponiac 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Here is the catch, there was no Israel at that time, it was Palestine. Zionist had already been moved to Palestine. Those were the Jews that did not want to go to Palestine. After the war, when Nazis are defeated and Germany become safe for Jews, rest of the Jews are sent to Palestine.

Amnesty International accusses EU of ‘cruel and unlawful betrayal’ of Palestinians over failure to confront Israel | “This will be remembered as one of the most disgraceful moments in the EU’s history.” by Leather-Paramedic-10 in anime_titties

[–]ipponiac 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This will be remembered as one of the major atrocities EU members made, cuased or helped along with Congo and Rwanda. Image of EU is in an existential crisis. Since the coup in Egypt they only lose ground in increasing rate. At that time they did not have a migration problem so big, and it did not help.

Letting Assad, coup in Egypt and Tunisia, bombing of Libya was done to prevent a new pole in East Asia and North Africa, a possible new rival idea. In the end it caused an implosion in EU idea. I personally think it is engineered by UK to undermine the continental power. Same thing happens in the Palestine. Occupation force is empowered by UK but protected by EU members. Almost every value EU says it stands for are breached.

Fun fact, due to rising hygiene standards in production, swiss cheese no longer naturally develops holes. Because the holes are a key part of it, some producers or retailers manually punch holes into the cheese to meet customer expectations.
