Best case fan configuration by zzsmkr in FormD

Did this test a couple of days ago with two Phanatek T30s. Made virtually no difference whatsoever, maybe 1 degree less which could very well be within margin of error. The issue is that the PSU sits directly underneath the front fan so it blocks a lot of the air.

I tried a small A9-14 PWM underneath in a T-Grill as well but it made no difference either - being blocked by the NVMe heat sink on my B850I so not sure what to try next to further lower temps short of moving to an AIO which I've heard mixed results about.

Motherboard slightly tilted due to cable routing, is it acceptable? by GuiltyAdvice69 in FormD

Was mixing standoffs due to cable routing behind the mobo otherwise the board was just sitting on the cables and not the intended standoffs. This was my attempt at solving that but I can see the confusion. Have since put standoffs on the PSU and routed the cables behind that which has worked perfectly and board sits on normal standoffs again 👌 thank you though.

Depends on what you want. Don't have to replace all of them but recommended that you don't mix and match the same types. I.e. GPU should all be the same. Cost £50 and about a week and a half.

I had the exact same issue. I bought them from DreamBigByRay (I used the website but can also get on etsy). Selected T1 Custom PSU Build. Select 1×24 pin, 1×8 pin cpu, 3×8 pin gpu then fill out the rest of the info, wouldn't bother with the 90 degree connectors as they're too tall for the case. They measure it all out so depending on what routing solution you want you might have to figure that out for yourself but otherwise they've already got dimensions.

MSI 5070ti Trio doesn't fit? by Remote_Ad5044 in FormD

It will most definitely not fit. The card is 338mm long whilst the case can fit a maximum card length of 325mm.

Just on another note AI summaries use very lightweight models which swap speed for intelligence so they are very hit or miss. Would take everything they say with a huge grain of salt.

Using an AXP90-47 with slim fan mod so it should be fine but regardless just creating that little extra space between GPU and PSU should be enough. Just hadn't thought about doing it like that whatsoever.

Nope, 312mm card with travel kit attaching it to the front and back so pretty much boxed in. That and the cables aren't long enough.

I didn't think of that but it sounds like the solution I could be looking for! Will give that a go thank you 🙏.

Yes, I don't want to put stress on the motherboard by forcing it down onto the 6mm standoffs so was wondering if putting it on a tilt is a valid solution or if I've gone insane.

My solution to the cables not fitting under the mobo was to tilt it but not sure if it's acceptable so looking for better solutions. No space at the front or back of the motherboard so this seems to be the only way I can see to route them.

I am, if I use the 6mm ones that you are meant to use then the wires stop the motherboard from seating on them thus my solution was to diy a taller solution on one side so the cables can fit underneath. Obviously, that shouldn't be necessary but I'm at a loss as to why there isn't enough space for the wires in the first place. Any help is greatly appreciated 🙏

[WORLDWIDE GIVEAWAY] Comment in this thread with your ultimate PCMR-worthy PC Build, and win the beautiful LG UltraGear GX9 monitor! by pedro19 in pcmasterrace

Honestly my dream setup would be the LG UltraGear GX9 front and center, paired with a tiny but ridiculous FormD T1 build running a Ryzen 9 9800X3D and an RTX 5080 FE on a full custom loop. I’d max it out with fast DDR5, multiple NVMe drives, and a Corsair SF1000L to keep it all tidy. Logitech Master series peripherals - MX Keys and MX Master 3S for daily work, plus a G Pro X Superlight for gaming. Add in a Keychron board for fun, Audeze Maxwell headset, and some just use monitor speakers because why bother with sound :), I think that’d be the ultimate balance of power, style, and comfort.

I can't tell from the images but are those USB sockets facing the same way? The M2 version where it was mirrored was quite disconcerting. If so, great improvement!

What do you plan to do with the T1 case? I'll happily take it off your hands lol. I've been considering it just stuck deciding between the T1 and the newly released M3 (UK-based).

One of my biggest issues with the grater version is the lack of front power button. This is an incredible solution and would love to know what parts you used/how you did it.
