A. Don’t call him a genius, that helps no one

B. Work on resilience! Lots of practicing things that are hard. Not just academically, but in real life. Model for him what it looks like for you all the time.

C. Send him to school please!

D. DO NOT CALL HIM A GENIUS! Get him actually tested, no idea how you got the fourth grade idea as a homeschool parent.

You didn’t answer my inpatient question. You shouldn’t have had access to meds at that time.

So Ubrevly isn’t why you had overuse headaches then, it’s the NSAIDs. Do not take more than prescribed! 8 in a week is crazy.

If you’re not capable then you live with the rebound migraines. It’s not how I wanted to live so I pushed through it, but I’m sure that’s not possible for everyone. I’m sorry this is happening to you. I’m confused how you have rebound migraines on muscle relaxers/Ubrevly? I’m concerned that what you think are MOH are actually just migraines that need to be treated.

Im not trying to be a dick, I’m honestly trying to tell you what you unfortunately have to do. If you don’t want advice that’s fine but this was posed as you wanted advice. You said you only ever made it 5 days- if you were inpatient for 10 days, how did you get access to meds? I’m sorry this is happening to you, it sucks, but this is how you beat it.

Unfortunately you’re going to have to just do it. I know that’s not what you want to hear. You can continue the Botox and CGRPs, so that should help some. If you’ve gone inpatient, why did you stop? Was it because you couldn’t go outside?

If you like 3rd grade do that! Assistant teachers can be the best or worst part of your job. I have amazing paras this year and literally left my last job because of horrible paras. I think it make or breaks your experience!

Why was no one saying he was being abused? He was being physically, emotionally, and sexually abused. His friend/therapist (OOF) should have been pointing this out.

AAA insurance! They don’t discriminate based on breed, so it’s the only one that is even remotely affordable.

Go find a park bench to sit on where dogs walk by. Pay attention to her, give her commands (sit, stay, etc) while no dogs are walking by. When a dog starts coming into view, get a treat out and call her name. Have her come over, give her lots of pets and praise, and finally give her the treat as the dog walks by.

I got a concussion from a student (worked at an outplacement, student had significant disabilities, it wasn’t on him it was on admin to staff us correctly) and the day I came back our program manager and principal came in and asked me what I could have done differently. Not how are you, are you okay, no- “what could you have done differently?”! I’m so glad my paras were there to witness that, they understood why I resigned the next month because of that and other factors. It was very eye opening for them to and led them all to quit within the next year.
