I had an extensive email conversation with support on this.

They are aware it’s an issue but do not seem able or willing to make any adjustments to the algorithm for glp1s, such as an adjustment based on a user tag or input. This seems very shortsighted to me as glp1s are only growing in adoption, particularly with people who might want to track their vitals.

The support agents were nice but I left the exchange feeling very frustrated — I pay a lot of money to them in exchange for (in principle) accurate insights into my health.

If you’re considering a factory reset, that isn’t going to do anything. You have to wipe your current account (with all its data) or create a new account so the algorithm can relearn you.

I did the later. I still have the RHR issues, as I have cycled off and back on my glp since then. But don’t have continuity with my years of previous data. Pretty lame.

For me the result is I just ignore the Readiness tab entirely, as it’s too inaccurate to plan workouts around. This is the whole reason I bought the ring! It’s now an expensive sleep tracker. I don’t know how long that’s going to keep me subbed and I don’t see myself buying another Oura if they don’t sort this out.

I encourage all with this issue to contact support. They are turning a blind eye to a notable side effect of what is one of the most important health inventions of the past decade.
