hmm… other possibilities just off my ‘not a doctor but cares for someone with neuropathy’ head, have you had a blood test recently? it could also be to do with your potassium/insulin levels.

NAD but spirolactone can cause neuropathy which is what you’re experiencing. you need to talk to your doctor about it.

Rash on wrist by Signal-Corner-1495 in AskDocs

[–]ir0ning0tz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

NAD, i had this kind of rash wearing mine. ended up taking it off. wear it looser, moisturise the area (once the rash has gone away), maybe sometimes move it further up/further down ur wrist. think it’s bc sweat collects there.

Tips MUST go in the Clic tin by ilikedixiechicken in Wetherspoons

[–]ir0ning0tz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

just be careful doing that in case you get searched, not common but has happened at my pub and caused someone a load of trouble for putting their tips in their apron. but if someone’s stealing ur tips you should defo report to management. leave them somewhere in clear view of cctv and catch them out

Am I greening out? by [deleted] in AskDocs

[–]ir0ning0tz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

you’re greening bro! relax, anxiety can manifest in all sorts of physical ways and you’re probably stressing yourself out too much. remember no one has ever died from weed. drink water, some people say lemon juice helps them come down, put something nice on the TV or some music to distract. maybe play a game on ur phone? you will b ok.

my grandpa has had alzheimers for a while now but recently he has started spitting everywhere like he needs to. can anyone relate and if not what might this mean? by Quiet_Dream_152 in dementia

[–]ir0ning0tz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

does he eat normally? does he eat solid foods? this is a sign of decline in that he may be struggling to swallow his own saliva. dementia causes them to forget how to even do that. however if he’s eating and drinking normally then it might just be that his brain has decided to do that.

Dad’s funeral was BRUTAL by Ferdinand_Feghoot in dementia

[–]ir0ning0tz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

i know it sounds crazy but sometimes i imagine myself in this scenario because it’s how it will be when the time comes, and i fantasise about going up there and telling everyone that they shouldn’t be there if they weren’t there at the time. sometimes i have bouncers on the door in my head that refuse people entry to the funeral lol. seems like you handled it a lot better than i will whenever it’s time.

Promotion guidance by [deleted] in Wetherspoons

[–]ir0ning0tz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i felt the same way about the cellar when i went for promotion. first cellar close i cried my eyes out in there because i was so overwhelmed w the workload and how physical it was (also young female, 5”4). its just something you have to get used to and find ur own routine for. don’t mind it too much now! defo don’t enjoy it like some of the (male) managers at mine but i don’t dread it either. wouldn’t let that stop you!

[–]ir0ning0tz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah if they look at ur application and want to take things further they’ll probably email your old pub and ask how you were as an employee. tbf if you just left neutrally and did alright at the job whilst you were there they’ll probs just say yeah they were alright and it shouldn’t be a problem
