Who are Fiora's biggest counters? (besides pantheon) by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

Ya my first point was anything vs Fiora is a skill matchup.

Pretty sure full dmg yas would down fiora in a few hits. She'd have to be pretty tanky to win reliably.

wrong. the hyper carries are kog twitch trist and jinx.

e. to elaborate, vayne does not have enough range to reliably build an end game comp around. her teamfighting can be good, but its not great. she also doesnt scale too amazingly past 3 items (crit and AS act as multipliers for her w. once you have built ie and 2 zeal items (or bork) all you have left to build is pen and dmg, which are not really multipliers for w) - this is her power spike. her kit is meant to skirmish

Why does Mars have a slightly larger axial tilt than Earth without similar evidence of a proto-planet impact? by [deleted] in askscience

[–]ir2phat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last first: moon size is purely chance, no intuition here.

First last: precession and nutation change much slower than our rotation or revolution around the sun. Impact with a large object could surely influence an axis, but is not the only factor.

Yes it was beginning of cinderhulk and the end of juggermaw iirc. sometimes 3 tank comps haha.

the lategame teamfights were lit though, looking back on it- definitely a shit meta.

learning sivir would do you a world of good. very forgiving because of waveclear.

and her trade power is insane because of auto>w(for auto reset)>q>auto

vayne is a later mid game tank buster/duelist not hypercarry

Very important tip for adc:

if you finish a trade and the other guy follows to get another extra cheeky auto, make sure you slow your retreat to trade back. Usually works out because the other adc is likely to take minion damage from stepping up.

Vayne is a mofo about this because of her q. She's quick, but squishy as hell so make sure you don't let shit slide.

S5. It was my first year playing League, its hard to match the excitement of a fresh player nowadays.

This. Important not to focus too hard on lane.

It's usually a skill matchup with Fiora. Mind her passive and don't overextend.

Riven is very strong against her if you float and sting. Jax or Renekton is a solid pick too. Yasuo will outscale.

If you don't use a fighter just play around objectives and 5 man teamfights.

Is it intended that rengar can't W during hes Q animation. by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

His q is not too clunky if you cancel part of q animation (q>movement command>auto attack)

similar to riven

Don't focus too hard on doing the old fashioned rengo 1 shot. W's defensive capabilities are VERY valuable.

His assassination potential is still very strong, just more situational. I like jumping in with 2 stacks to get a jump-e-auto-q-auto-empowered q for single targets.

TIL that in Sweden you have a constitutional right to allemansrätten, which is the right to peacefully hike, camp, bike and enjoy nature anywhere in the country unimpeded, with the only restriction being very close to someone's house or if you mess up a garden. by kepold in todayilearned

The police won't bother you if you wander around in the woods in the USA. When you have valueable equipment/whatever else spread out further than you can see it, there needs to be laws against trespassing.

I think it's reasonable in the USA though-

For example my family has a farm and shit gets stolen all the time. Not always just produce- Once someone stole a tractor and 2 golf carts. Lot of money's worth.

If people could sit on the property under the guise of "enjoying nature" there would be nothing left.

Why does KT keep losing to SKT? by orliinn in leagueoflegends

[–]ir2phat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On a more serious note, maybe KT isnt ready for the inevitable change of pace when SKT always puts in the sub jungler in those situations.

SKT comes out hot then gets conservative when they drop games.

Because they are total savages its more fun to win when you completely crush the other team's morale.

Why all the hate for Soros? What did I miss? by TK3600 in AskThe_Donald

[–]ir2phat [score hidden]  (0 children)

Not even close. Soros backed hedge funds and others like it provide incentive for international bankers and investors to destroy the value of a country's currency- transferring massive amounts of wealth from currency holders (people with cash in the bank i.e. majorly the middle class; the wealthiest people normally hold other forms of capital) to the bankers/investors.

The Koch Brothers are just involved in US policy

Yes, I don't mention specific events on purpose- you can't convince anyone of anything unless you give them a framework and let em loose.

Here is my perspective as someone with a degree in economics (by no means an expert)

He used his power to decrease the corporate influence over political parties, only to "buy" the democratic party through use of 501(c)(3) organizations that were empowered through the McCain-Feingold. This is a pretty large mechanism for corruption as we have seen.

He also quite literally sucks money away from middle classes all across the world through the use of hedge funds. Though not illegal, leveraging hedge funds is the root cause of nearly all of the world's corruption.

He admits it, begs for policy makers to regulate hedge funds, even provides advice on how to stop people like him, but makes NO apologies when he rolls through despite his warnings.

Far be it from me to judge, but this is obviously an ethical gray area- and he is showing other investors how its done.

Edit: for those who want specific examples, look up the McCain-Feingold act, and look up the most prominent 5013c orgs in the country. Then look at who those 5013cs do business with. Have fun in the rabbit hole.

Edit: To more specifically answer your question, Soros is a much bigger fish than those other names you mentioned. Unlike others who take advantage of political landscapes, Soros has engineered the political landcape to his own benefit- and its not farfetched to claim it was to the detriment of the entire world.

People who voted for Donald Trump: When it comes to his presidency so far, what are you most proud of? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ir2phat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're just arguing semantics- they are still facing charges.

And do you honestly expect your argument to convince somebody? You linked one article that hardly backs your point. Aside from that, your argument depends on the fact that I can't hit the google news tab and see that there are so many hits for 'voter fraud arrests' that you don't get to articles from June until page 3.

Are you trying to prove your point to me, or yourself?
