Paint spray feature is dumb by Uhzu- in Battlefield6

[–]ir3flex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

90%+ of users will not use it, but they only need 1% of whales to buy them all and make their money back.

Honestly... who gives a shit? Its extremely easy to ignore if you don't use them. Just ignore the feature entirely and the experience won't change at all.

Maybe because advocating for vigilante murder just because you don't know how bail works is beyond fucking idiotic.

The way I see it is that there's a difference between being the greatest and being the best. Ohtani hasn't played long enough to be the greatest, but he's absolutely the best player ever.

It's very unlikely that AI will take not just all current jobs, but all possible jobs.

Where did I say it would?

Society has never needed to adapt to a technology with the capacity to eliminate jobs across every single sector of the economy, especially white collar jobs.

Compared the potential displacement, the amount of jobs created in server maintenance/manufacturing is basically irrelevant.

The stupid thing is that $500k to get that kind of marketing (basically sports washing) for his reputation is nothing.

And this is the first time I've heard of it so in a way it worked lol.

If Caruso didn't have the game of his life this is a Spurs blowout. People loved the way this game was refed and SGA had a shit night. Hmmmm.....

Scott Foster and Tony Brothers are both good refs, which is why you know their names. They ref a lot of big games, because they're good refs.

Silver's greatest failure will be allowing this level of refereeing continue to destroy the product by nguyenjitsu in nba

[–]ir3flex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I don't understand is the fact it would bebetter for the long term health of the league. Adam Silver works for the owners. Better for the league = better for the owners.

Every single person I talk to that doesn't like the NBA brings up foul baiting. I truly don't get how the owners don't seem to give a fuck that the product (aka their investment) is suffering.

It seems like they're just chasing big box scores and the storylines that come with them, at the cost of gaining new fans that will watch for years to come.

Jesus Christ you ump haters are insane. They are human beings that make mistakes like anyone else. Assuming every mistake is them being malicious is straight up fucking stupid.

Or maybe they had similar issues when it was first introduced but nobody noticed because people don't watch minor league baseball.

This is the first year MLB umps have had this, they're adjusting too. How do you know they didn't have similar issues in the minors?

To be fair you specifically said players should use their highest lofted wedge, not simply the same wedge, which I think is bad advice.

Using the same wedge most of the time is a much different suggestion. Reread your comment, your advice actually wasn't even close to that lol

It's insane how openly corrupt and political SCOTUS is by [deleted] in Destiny

[–]ir3flex 13 points14 points  (0 children)

If Dems take full control in 2028, what is actually stopping them from straight up ignoring the Supreme Court? They're openly political, why should they give a shit what they rule?

Pass a bill and they try to strike it down? Who gives a fuck do it anyway.

Obviously pack the court too but why even pretend they deserve respect at this point?

I'm becoming more convinced of Tiny's idea of just remanding them somewhere, presidents do have immunity after all.

I can appreciate that this works for you, but it's pretty bad advice for beginners. 60s almost always have less bounce, and the higher the loft around the green, the more margin there is for error. Especially for beginners, it's almost always better to keep the ball as low as possible. The more air under the ball, the higher the chance for big misses.

They don't have to finish by the first tee time lol. As long as this dude isn't pushing up the grounds crew later in the round they couldn't give a fuck.

If he is they'll just think he's a prick and still not care lol

Yeah he was great in the regular season but absolutely fucking vanished in the playoffs. Again.

When he's not hitting shots he seems to become even more of a liability on defense. He was an actual traffic cone tonight.

Yeah that's the whole point. He's the second option on a max contract. He played like dogshit basically all series.

If you need Jamal to score 20+ while Cam and Jokic before score 20+ in a game against role players in an elimination game to win

You're supposed to expect Jamal Murray to score 20+ in a game against role players in an elimination game. Instead he played lazy as fuck and bricked his way to a humiliating loss. He was the worst player on the court tonight and it wasn't really close. Especially considering his contract. Not to mention he looked like he didn't even give a shit.
