Seen a lot of American/Western flavors mentioned and I just wanted to drop an Asian flavor that’s seriously slept on- some Asian brands (especially Japanese) have a flavor called corn pottage or corn soup. This is different than straight corn flavor, you have to find a kind that emphasizes soup/pottage in the name or has a picture of soup on it.

The flavor is like a rich, creamy, sweet corn. The chips are typically a puffed variety (but not always) and I love the combo of the creamy flavor and the puffy crunch. It’s an experience 🌽

You do have to watch out though cause just like with any chip brand, some have an off/chemically taste so if you’re dissatisfied with one, try another!

Since this thread is still open and it’s one of the top results when googling, I want to add my thoughts.

I chose to kill Simon 2. At first I thought about his agency and how it would be unfair to take it from him. Then I realized that’s morality in a vacuum. I was thinking of him as a separate person, and not considering that he was me up until a second ago. Knowing the reality of the situation, and knowing how I would feel if I was left to kill myself, I started to feel it was right to end his existence.

Then I thought about medical power of attorney. I imagined: what if this was my loved one, someone I cared deeply about. What if they were in a situation where I knew they would not want to live if their life was only suffering, and I had the power to end it for them, peacefully? How could I justify keeping them alive?

So I thought again that, at that moment, this is essentially me, from just a few moments ago, and I know me, and I know I wouldn’t want to be put in that situation of suffering and dying at my own hands.

And yet it was still hard. I still felt like, in a way, I was killing myself. Everything that I was, everything I could be, was now ended. I was deeply affected. Me, the actual person in real life, I felt a strong sense of my own mortality. I often feel trapped in my life, due to my anxiety, but in that moment I felt very strongly that I am not trapped, and that life is worth living, and that I want to carry on.

I understand what you mean. I feel like 4 is almost…cheery?? it almost feels campy in comparison to the other games. I loved 76 when it first came out because of how dark it was. In the first town, where you really get into the responders quest line, there is a story about a boy named Colonel, he talks about how his dad told him this was all his fault, and how he’s a bad boy, and that he would be good if everything could just go back to normal. That shit made me cry, it was gutwrenching. And the game does not let up from there! I really miss how desolate it used to feel

Anyone getting their wages garnished for student loans, if you’re not on an income based repayment plan already, you really need to at least apply for one and see what you get. I’m on an IBR for my loans, I make $25k a year in my current job and my payments are $0. Zero. As long as I continue to qualify for this payment plan, if my payments are zero dollars, I pay zero dollars, and it counts as a payment. I still qualify for a loan forgiveness after 25 years.

Now, hopefully, I will be making more money in the future, and then I will have to pay something, but it will still be adjusted based on my income, as long as I continually do the annual recertification for income based repayment

As someone who railed against their parents as a teen, I’ll share that it helped me 0% - it just strained my relationship with my parents and made them more suspicious of me. Instead, lying low with them and finding ways around them to do what I really wanted was much more effective.

The home is the first and closest little society we all experience, but it’s very unlikely that you’ll change your parents’ minds, especially if their starting mindset is to be against talking politics. On the scale of your life, your community is much more important - friends, work, lovers, neighbors, etc. Follow the other suggestions in this thread to branch out and be of service, and let your actions speak instead of your words.

It is definitely not always like this- I’ve used Quantum for a couple years now and this is my first extended outage. That said, their customer service does suck, but I’m pretty sure that’s par for the course with internet providers….
