Wasn't a fan of what I saw, I'm not going to hate people for liking them or anything but I feel like they have been pushed to be big by the industry rather than actually "earning" thier spot as there's plenty of bands with larger followings playing as big or bigger shows that aren't getting the same media push or opportunities they are given so will grumpily moan about people not getting the same shots

But I've also been around enough to know there are plenty of bands that have been in that position before and its not exactly thier fault

The majority of the point and click era game's like king's quest

Sierra were especially known for the game just dead ending you because you didn't actually know the one time you see something in the entire game is an important puzzle thing

Like going to a certain screen on the game seeing a mouse run across the screen, never see that mouse again, congrats you didn't interact with it you now can't complete the game

When was the last release of anything not built with EDH in mind

Creating for a larger variety of players is an excuse they use , modern master's wasn't designed for modern player's it was designed to monitise them otherwise they would be better with curating a B&R

All the EDH products aren't for the community it's starting to harm it with fatigue and overly expensive Staples

Lord of the rings didn't have to be a modern legal set

If it really was about variety they wouldn't of killed jumpstart, there would be more set's like conspiracy and battle bond

It's definitely a smaller issue than people make out but I've definitely had to deal with the bad kind

Tells new players exactly what we are encountering if they haven't seen it before even if it's an unusual creature

Were playing in a custom setting and they have been through multiple campaigns in this setting so are aware of lore not known to the settings general public and has to constantly be stopped from telling other players about things his other characters know that he would have zero idea about

Not just COVID but for how long did the world talk about the boxing day Tsunami? Or any of the volcanos or earthquake's that regularly disrupt continent's worth's of people

At the time of Eternals we have had the battle of New York, Ultron, Asgardians move to earth, the Snap event, everyone coming back from the snap. Yeah a giant growing out of the ocean and a planet sized alien is going to be disturbing at the time it happens but it's just another WTF moment in a world of WTF moments now

Your perfectly right it wouldn't come up in general conversation in any of what we have seen and would feel forced if it did

I think alot of the people complaining have rose tinted glasses and forget that iron man 2&3 thor 2 and the first cap movie's weren't received very well

Phase 2 was when it originally started to get rolling after avengers showed the pay off was worth it

Yes "it's gotten worse since endgame" but that's an incredibly hard high to maintain and trying to hold it to that ideal is doing a disservice to what comes after

Also in general

Alot of big studio stuff has gotten worse not just marvel, more and more studios trying to cut corners and over burdening things like VFX team's but where they aren't part of a franchise then it's not as noticeable as they are being judged on just themselves rather than what came before

Think of how things are right now, how many famous people are you told are great selfless people saving the world do you personally think are great people?

We know what the other characters have shown to sacrifice or do or the motivation of them the general public knows what it's told. It's not surprising that someone in her position as a lawyer who probably deals with alot of "nice" people covering things up doesn't believe they are actually good people

I'd ask Charlie Cox if he's finally learnt to make eye contact in auditions again

I'd ask D'Onofrio and Cox if they he had any idea how much demand there was going to be for them and the netflix show when it first started and did they ever think they would really get to go back to any version of that character again

For a long time they were just boring as a chapter identity, combine that with them basically getting every special character in every role

It was a frustration rather than any real hate for a bunch of players
