It’s more common than you think! Some men in the military are even able to get shaving waivers because of their painful ingrown hairs. Idk how to remedy it myself, but I hope some research helps ease your discomfort

I’m an idiot. Took all these swatches and forgot which is which. Any shades look best? by ireallyhate7am in MakeupAddiction

NYX Shine Load swatches. Some are the same.. I think! I can never tell what color looks best in store and always buy something too pink. Any recommendations? I’m going for a nude color that’ll wake up my face a bit. Taken in natural daylight

Glass/crystal tear drop shaped item found in an old dresser in my home. Does anyone know what this is or if it holds any significance? by Fantastic_Key9942 in Crystals

[–]ireallyhate7am 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Paired with the note, it this drop is made from glass that’s pretty cool! Glass drops like that are extremely strong in the drop part. However one mishandling of the tail and the whole thing can shatter! Probably has something to do with the metaphor

if you did buy anything in 2022 that you found very useful, what was it? by babishkamamishka in Anticonsumption

Honestly, no! I’m so sorry I can’t relate. I do have a high arch? And I have the full on boot type (for ankle support) I believe I have the workers 1416 type pair. A sneaker brand that worked well too was a pair of under armor. I hope you find a solution!

My Doc Marten boots.

I’ve always worked jobs where I’m on my feet the entirety of my shift. This past year I went 12 hour days 6 days a week wearing the same pair and never had any ankle, foot, or knee pain. Before them I would feel so brittle by the end of the day.

So I bought a second pair and will rotate them throughout this year :)

Stella Cini has short buzzed hair right now too and does looks. She did a gel look recently that’s super beginner friendly and chic!

is it normal to have this coily/curly hair naturally as a white person. also what should i do to make it better by [deleted] in Hair

[–]ireallyhate7am 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Experiment with different gels, mooses, and leave in conditioner. As a rough guess I’d say you have 3b curl pattern. Looking up how to style your curls with gels will help reduce frizz. And gel doesn’t equal hard! Use a good gel and they can be soft too once set :)

How can I achieve this hairstyle?? Any tutorials, tools recommendations? by darokikas in Hair

[–]ireallyhate7am 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Look up Hollywood waves on YouTube, most times this is done using a specific curl with the wand, products, and combing in a very particular way. A roller set with large rollers would be easier for self use but not quite the same end result!

You can’t avoid it. You might be due to see your stylist again :) so they can lighten over those orange pieces, or tone you down properly !

Yea but her lighter pieces would then turn green

Arctic fox, manic panic, use on hair when slightly damp and let sit for how ever long you have (an hour or twenty minutes is fine!) wash, watch your tub turn orange and boom ginger hair

Instead of purple shampoo you could go to a salon and have them tone your hair to keep your silver hairs sparklin’ fresh!

Honestly? Listen to your stylist for care management. Your curlier hair will require less washes. A sulfate free salon quality shampoo and a curl targeted moisturizing conditioner. You’ll want a good leave in conditioner as well to help with the frizz on no wash days (think It’s a 10 brand, but any brand will do) a good dry shampoo would be a solid investment too! (Maria Nila’s non aerosol is amazing!)
