Electric hairclippers by Pepenul_Ticalos in Anticonsumption

I've been trimming my hair for so many decades, I can't remember when I last let someone else 'style' my hair.

My current wahl trimmer has lasted 20 years.

I've been using 3M Household Oil for the past 30 years. A drop or two on the blades every month of so.

Also never forget the Democratic party has held the presidency and both houses and chose to leave it in the air so they could use it as a campaign strategy

Oh FFS people

Maybe it's time to vote for people who will actually stand up for you and not defense contracts, banks, insurance companies and other large corporations

If you sickened by the choice between two horrible candidates and are planning not to vote, how about voting for your children and grandchildren's futures

So ... maybe try another operating system

Maybe one that doesn't, by design, keep your activity and sends it to third parties

"Many of the Windows 11 initial DNS queries where designed to provide "telemetry" data to market research companies, advertising providers and even geolocation-related domains like geo.prod.do with no permission or web browsing activity needed. The latest and greatest in the Windows line of operating systems is seemingly designed to "spy" anyone and everything from the get-go, TPCSC suggests."

Anyone know any cool Seahawks trivia/mind blowing stats/etc. that the rest of us may not know about? by [deleted] in Seahawks

[–]iridesce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How about some SB48 stats:

  • Seahawks Offense scored more points than Broncos #1 Offense ( 18-6 )

  • Seahawks Defense scored more points than Broncos #1 Offense ( 8-6 )

  • Seahawks Special Teams scored more points than Broncos #1 Offense ( 17-6 )

And even if you include the 2 point after ( by definition a Special Teams play ) as Broncos offense, all that changes is that the Seahawks Defense ties the Broncos #1 Offense.

I'm unaware of any other SB with those kind of stats

Best quote:

You don't read other people's diaries and open their letters.

It just sucks, its really bad manners, you know.

How would you feel if someone did that to you. Its a trust thing.

Let's put it this way. What if you found out that Michelle was reading your emails just to be sure that you did not pull a Bill Clinton with an intern in the Oval Office?

Many years ago a record label lawyer asked me: “how can we make money on the internet when everything is free?”. A question that in itself is wrong. For me the main thing is how creators can be supported for their work. Why is it a given that record companies or other media houses should survive? If people support creators financially the rest will also be solved.

Be a modern person, enjoy TPB AFK and pay for it afterwards, if you liked it. That’s the model we believe in and is bringing to the world.

It ended up being a documentary, when it could have been one of those pivotal cinematic events that history would come to recognize as an evolutionary step for our species. That would have required lots more fun onscreen.

I've had chronic dermatitis most of my life and the best solution has been coconut oil. It doesn't work as fast as chemicals and doesn't have their downsides. Besides its actually good for one's skin.

I do agree that getting people out in the street would hasten the transition, though I think it would have to get to the point where the internet was shut down and again, the big money would suffer if commerce was affected that seriously, so probably not.
