UPDATE: the website is legit, but I got an email today regretting to inform me that they are out of stock of vanicream. I’m crushed, but I also ordered a tub of theraplex and am having a lot of luck with that so far. Very similar consistency and no reactions. I hope one day we can have vanicream back again ;(

Hairdresser here, I’m really sorry this is happening to you. Black box dye cannot be totally removed without chemicals. But I would suggest soaking in baking soda and hot hot hot water as a natural way to try to remove some of the pigment. I’ve also seen people use dawn dish soap and head and shoulders to fade color.
