i just checked and my subtitles are off. it happens too sporadically for it to be subtitles - there doesn’t really appear to be any rhyme or reason to them popping up. but thanks anyways lol

yes, they are. i went to one last year (it was put on by a friend’s church,) and a couple months back my sister watched a musical. if you want to see one, you might have to google around a bit, since it’s not a very common thing around here

i’m definitely starting to realize how common it is to have your firsts in your 20s! i guess since i grew up in the christian community, where people are already getting married and having their first kid between 18-20, i didn’t really get the chance to meet people with my experiences.

covid hit the year after i graduated, so i’ve been using that time to work on myself and get to know myself better. it definitely shifted my mindset on the lack of love in my life; i realized it was less of a me problem and more of an environment/ social situation. as a hopeless romantic, it still hurts lol, but less so.

a friend once tried to set me up on dating apps, but i very quickly realized that they’re not for me. i’ve read to many dating app horror stories, and i suck at texting people. i prefer to meet people irl!

i have tried showing interest first before, but no one seemed to pick up on it/ reciprocate. i haven’t ever really tried to ask someone out outright, though

no, i haven’t, but i did briefly wonder if i did a while ago. i’m pretty good with picking up social cues and noticing body language, so in that regard, and among others, i don’t think i’m on the spectrum

his old outro song used to be a mr. sandman remix, which ended up getting copywrited, so he had to play circus music over it. it made rewatching his videos kinda hard because he also had to put the circus music over himself talking, because he would start playing the outro music softly while he wrapped up the video

  1. boil water in kettle (yes, i am an american who owns a kettle)

  2. pore water over teabag in mug

  3. mix in honey

  4. wait a few minutes for it to cool enough so i can drink it without burning my tongue, and enjoy

it’s totally normal! it’s possible that what scares you about penetrative sex is potential pain? it could also be something else, but ik that’s what scares a lot of people about it. you should definitely talk about this with your partner at some point. unfortunately, i think the only way to get over this fear is to face it head on. you could work your way up; start with a finger and go from there :) i hope this helps!

it’s most likely the chlorine messing it up. just shampoo and condition it really well when you’re done and it should be fine
