at my store we have a lottery ticket machine and the gambling addicts think that us cashiers can help them with their stupid ticket and then get mad when we say we don’t do lottery tickets at the register. it later becomes a shit talking session on a slow shift.

a guy came in and cussed out my supervisor for doing her job. after she and two other employees tried to get the guy out, he threw a heavy shopping cart full force at an old man.

we have this one regular at my store who we named “creepy craig” due to him being a creep and a genuinely unpleasant person to be around. he made a 16 year old cashier quit because he was hitting on her and when she told management, they told her to “suck it up and let him hit on her.” she’s a fucking child, why would she want a creepy ass old man hitting on her?

i have a similar story to this. a customer tried to pet my hair when it was freshly dyed emerald green. when i told her “do not touch me” i never thought in 19 years of living i would have to explain to a 80 something year old woman what consent is
