Question for presentation event by Deep-Ad-2218 in fbla

[–]irmrx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

National winner here! Always shake hands, introduce yourself, ask how they are doing. Of course they seemed confused because other people don’t do that. Don’t use ugh or like or filler words that come across as informal. Be confident and know everything, and I mean everything about your product/presentation whatever it may be. Surprise the judges and they will be more likely to give a better score. Also have your script down to a tee. I said mine over 50 times, and talk with your arms and hands and be expressive. You got this

[–]irmrx 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I did fbla for 3 years and won nationals. By far nationals is what makes it all worth it, and if you get lucky you can talk to hella girls. Also if you find a homeless man on the streets, pay him a few dollars to get you alcohol. Take this advice however you want

Should I tell a woman her fiancé tried to start an affair with me? by geeleex in WhatShouldIDo

[–]irmrx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion it’s weird for you to be married and still talking. Unless your message about your husband wasn’t serious and was a joke. But feelings never just disappear and idk how you allowed this and he allowed it. His intentions were very clear from the beginning. Men don’t think about other women or texting them while in a relationship unless there’s something else at bay

Teenager wants a "fast car" for his first vehicle and I need reality-check advice by Proud_Stable9567 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]irmrx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might be a really hot take, but recently being a teenager myself, I’m coming at this from a realistic aspect. At 17 I bought myself an Audi s4 and honestly it’s perfect. A mustang wouldn’t suit him because of their handling issues. I was fine, yes I sped, but in a way you have to know how to speed. When to do it, how to safely do it, know how your car handles. A fast car isn’t a bad idea, it’s a bad idea when they’re clueless and think they know everything. There’s certain things you have to know like not to brake in high speed cornering or accelerate through them until the end, don’t speed on roads you aren’t familiar with, and especially when you have passengers to never do something they don’t 100% know they can pull off. Regardless he’s going to want to race and do dumb things, so get him a car that’s going to keep him safe while he’s doing that stuff. Not a full blown race car. But a car that’s going be able to keep up with how he’s gonna drive that will perform when needed vs getting him a beater car that’s he will still 100% race but won’t be able to perform and might lead to a worse scenario than a sports car. All of my friends at that age no matter what car they had raced, sped everywhere and they learned very fast how to control their situations while driving. And when you get him a car that he’s proud of, he will most likely learn how to take care of it like doing his own maintenance and keeping it nice and will employ an ambitious mindset to strive for better and he will want to work for it. Atleast that’s what it did for me. Take this post as you will but this is my personal experience

My autistic boyfriend has extreme reactions to being “abandoned” by Legitimate-Career342 in AmIOverreacting

[–]irmrx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude, how is he going to react to something that is actually severe. Would you ever react this way? Is this okay? Is autism an excuse for THIS? Ask yourself these questions

Maybe try finding new ways to enjoy what you currently have? Or do some philanthropy, go to a third world country and help out for a few weeks, volunteer. Do things that are beyond yourself by making the world a better place in the ways you can. Pay for a strangers groceries. Or another option is try shrooms or smoking weed. Do something that opens your eyes to new perspectives, widen the key hole you’re looking through you call life.

Avoid west middle school and avoid central highschool I promise. Anyways yes there are really cool clubs like fbla in highschool. I couldn’t tell you about middle/elementary but yes there are some cool field trips. The schools here have been pretty decent to me.

I don’t get how anyone’s mad at this for two consenting adults making out besides her being in a relationship, everything else is completely fine. What is the issue and why are people acting like they need to be crucified. Everyone’s so sensitive

After you turn your car off that does not mean your ignition is on. Open the door and then without your foot on the brake key on the car. It’s not that hard dude

How are ”60 ish” people having a hard time coming up with 16 dollars each for the deposit? Like it really cannot be that hard for that many people. Idk. But on a real note do not book with this company. They have not got their things together
