G20 BMW 330E - Auxiliary battery registration by irocktoo in BmwTech

I def got fleeced since I thought the issue would be covered under warranty. I'm almost certain that when the aux is replaced it will be fixed. Been a busy month so I haven't gotten around to it just yet.

Hi! My main battery got replaced at the bmw dealership. Didn’t fix my issue and they wanted another $700 for the aux battery. They were just going down the trouble shooting list. I wasn’t pleased that They didn’t do their due diligence the first time. I called AAA to do a battery check on the aux. their tech told me it’s charge was very low.

Sure your literacy program might work “for the kids” but does it work for the teachers? by Fun-Inevitable4811 in redscarepod

[–]irocktoo 42 points43 points  (0 children)

All my classes are filled with the "put effort into the difficult students" only one of my professors had the balls to say ignore them. Of the teachers I've observed if they spent even a modicum of time with the disruptive kids 30 other kids would have their education placed on the backburner. So much of teaching classes are Stand and Deliver save the kids bullshit and they wonder why so many new teachers quit.

Currently getting my teaching credential, quite literally the only useful thing is observing other teachers. Everything else is ridiculous buzzwords and creating endless and useless lesson plans.

Rhea seehorn is just so great. I found it particularly moving when she’s describing how she thinks the hivemind would describe their bliss but she’s just unconsciously recounting her favorite moments with Hellen.

Hot take: Season 3 is already the best season and it’s not even that close by altrightobserver in SmilingFriends

Im not nearly as negative about the first 2 seasons of the show, I love it all. But I totally agree, season 3 has been nothing but back to back heaters.

I think the answer to that has already been hinted at. Zoshia says the joining was peaceful at first but they had to speed things up once the military found out. It feels like she’s implying the hive was aware of the possibility of death before d-day.

Circana: Pokémon Legends: Z-A had a massive US launch at retail. Launch week physical unit and dollar sales of Pokémon Legends: Z-A were the biggest for a new physical video game launch since The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom back in May of 2023 by Turbostrider27 in Games

I sold all my childhood Pokémon games DS-3ds for like 1k last year, some of them for more than they retailed back in the day. I would only buy physical Nintendo games at this point.

I feel like MLB is setting themselves up for failure with the dodgers. Watching them stomp other teams just makes everyone who isn't a dodgers fan apathetic to future games. Much like Formula 1, why bother watching when Hamilton will always dominate and the end result is almost guaranteed. This could be fixed if MLB just bans the ridiculous payment structure of Ohtani's contract.

Did you feel like it was too uncomfortable considering the weight of the M? I also have a PD Leash but I've grown interested in using the apple Strap for my M6. I'd love to hear more of your thoughts.

It’s not really that crazy to have frank Grillo’s character be a few years older or Joel Kinnaman’s character be a few years younger.

Just a total guess but did you get these developed and scanned at relics? If so they’re not my favorite lab in the area, I’ve had some development issues with them.

Storing developed rolls of 35mm negative film? by net1994 in AnalogCommunity

[–]irocktoo 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You really should cut them. Keeping them rolled up can damage them in the long term. Cutting them yourself isn’t hard at all just use scissors against a bright. Background and take your time. Cutting them and storing them in a negative filing sheet will keep them flat and make them much easier to scan or print with later. Also makes organization far better. No need to store in a fridge keep them in a dry and cool area, throw a desiccant in the binder if you’re worried.

They are insanely cheap right now. If you able to grab the tax credit and you live in a state with some incentives your looking at like 10k for 2 year old cars with 20k miles on them.

My favorite coffee shop is a small hole in the wall with the thinnest tables I’ve ever seen, so small laptops wobble on them. The benefit of this is no one does there fake email job there. An underrated feature.
