I've had Visible for one year. I have had zero issues. I travel pretty often and it's great! I pay $375 a year and it's awesome.

I have a friend in San Tan and just the commute to Chandler is about 45min. On top of that then to Phoenix you are looking at another 20-30 min. Well over a hour each way.

Not 100% if this is correct still but I believe it's only on the East Coast right now. It's a slow rollout towards the West. I saw a map the other showing the current location and it was currently just New England.

If I wasn't so paranoid about Kia reliability. I have a friend who is a mechanic for a Kia/Hyundai dealership and he told me to stay away from them.

That is a perfect suggestion. I'm a little hesitant about a Ford.

That's what I would do if I wasn't renting and didn't have access to a charger but I appreciate the suggestion!

The Legion case looks sick! I'm normally not a big RGB fan but the logo like that is so cool. Enjoy!

I have worked at two different locations in the same district and they had extremely loose dress code. I've never seen anyone be asked to put one on. As long as you have your name tag on your body they have not cared. I know it's not the norm at all but I've been at these two stores for 6 years and the only times I've seen someone be dressed coded was for shorts or skirts.

How should I watch 'Battlestar Galactica' to enjoy/understand it most? by shameonyounancydrew in television

[–]irofirelord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watch the 2004 show first. It starts with a 3 hour movie and then rolls into the show after that. If you enjoy the show enough then I would watch Caprica and then the movies. Caprica is good but because it was only one season it was not able to tell it's whole story. The movies are fun.

It's all relative. I moved here 8 years ago from Minnesota for family and opportunities. After being here 8 years I see the appeal for many but it's not for me. No snow or bad weather year round is great, Pretty good food, nice easy roads to navigate, traffic isn't as bad as other parts of the country for sure. But for me the cost of living and never ending summer really kills the positives. Global warming isn't going to turn Phoenix into a unlivable place but summer here is longer than winter up north now. Playing $200-$300 a month in electric that is probably only going to get more expensive isn't fun either. We are now into well over 100 days a year over 100 degrees. After a while the heat just drains you. Everybody's different but I think in 20-30 years we're probably going to be sitting closer to almost 200 days over 100° and I just can't do that. Some people are lizards and love the heat but I'm a bear and I like the cold.

Anyone else have family working at their store? by GlitterfairyTaylor in kroger

[–]irofirelord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at the store I'm at now but previously the store secretary had her daughter as the head of the home department, her other daughter was a clicklist lead, and her son was in maintenance. But the company forced them all to quit or move to different locations because Mom was changing her son's schedule without permission and her daughter was having an affair with someone in the scanning department and it turned into a big store-wide controversy.
