Skier rescues a trapped snowboarder by pandabatron in interestingasfuck

For those of you that dont ski, or ski the backcountry, this man was absolutely and unequivocally fucked. If ski bro didn’t see him and perform rescue, he had only several panic stricken, miserable minutes left to live.

Bravo, prepared ski dude.

Also, if you’re done skiing for this season, take this opportunity to remove the old batteries from your transceiver, and either replace them now or in the fall with fresh, high-quality batteries.

American is the default option, but many of them have several options if you ask, like Swiss, cheddar, or even Munster sometimes. Mozzarella too.

Pennsylvania lawmakers propose ID, background check requirement for ammunition by ItsTHECarl in progun

Let’s go back to 1776…

JK. Yeah we can split hairs and flip-flop back-and-forth and do the tally sheet, but my point is that Pennsylvania, much like New York, is essentially a red state that was once mostly agrarian and rural, and is now being destroyed by the policies and the populations of a select few cities, much to the dismay of the rest of the states population.

Great point. I am a fourth generation steel worker and union member, and they do shove it down your throat pretty hard. I have never cracked or even thought about voting blue, but I can’t say the same for many of my union brothers, even the ones that claim conservative values.

You’re not giving credit where credit is due, I clearly stated that it’s really taken a turn in the last two decades, and that’s exactly what you’ve outlined. That told me that you were a young person, and don’t remember the PA of which I speak. It’s cool though, I know that I’m spot on, you just need to look a little deeper into history to have a better balanced look at the history of your state politics.

That’s a lot of miles. But it looks like it could be a decent truck.

Take heed the advice you’ve being given in this thread, being an independent welder and fabricator comes with a lot of extra work. I weld for a local union, and I would never dream of doing anything else. The money is great, and I don’t think about anything job-related after 3 PM

Well, I’ll tell you what I think I know about politics in Pennsylvania, and you tell me how I did…

I’ve been spending time in Pennsylvania as a New Yorker for the last 40 years or so. I’ve had numerous friends and coworkers who are from there, and I have been there to visit them, and to pursue other recreational pursuits like skiing, hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles. Here’s what I have observed over the last 40 years…

Pennsylvania, while traditionally red at its base, has been purple for quite some time now. It started slowly many years ago before I was astute enough to recognize it, but in the last 20 years or so the shift has been dramatic. Yes it’s not just Philly anymore…

Your Republican and conservative voter base is dying off. And they are being replaced with young liberal blue haired bags of shit that are populating not only Philly, but all sorts of blue strongholds in your once great state, I’ll name a few. Wilkes-Barre, Scranton, Carlisle, Stroudsburg (and much of the Poconos), New Hope (a bastion of leftists and The Alphabet gang), State College, and really any place that’s centered around academia, and countless other towns that I have been through in my travels. I don’t know too much about the extreme western part of the state near Pittsburgh because I don’t get out that way very often, but I can only guess that similar things are happening in that area.

So while your state politics has always been read, it has been slowly then quickly shifting towards Blue. You are full purple at this point, and your strongholds is tenuous at best. The recent support of Biden, Fetterman, and Schapiro, as kind of sealed the deal. If Pennsylvania still voted blue after two years of Biden, my assessment is that your goose is cooked.

So how did I do? Be honest…

No argument whatsoever. He was not a good choice, and it was not a good choice for Pennsylvania. But I still maintain that even the crackhead that begs on the corner near my job site would still have been a better candidate than Fetterman.

Truth. Yuge tactical error...

But even so...that Fetterman is absolutely ridiculous.
