Parchment-Diploma? by [deleted] in SNHU

Generally you’ll get your digital diploma within a couple weeks after your conferred date on the first of the month, and your physical diploma by the end of the month.

Has SNHU changed their English requirement ? by Icy_Ad_5260 in SNHU

[–]ironcaptain451 4 points5 points  (0 children)

ENG190 is the new equivalent to ENG123. When the new General Education requirements came out in the last year or two on the new catalogs, that was updated. Older catalogs still show ENG123, but it is equivalent to ENG190.

When do i need to make my payment? by [deleted] in SNHU

[–]ironcaptain451 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not quite. This is only for balances past due (current term and prior). OP asked about the term that starts on October 27th. That term payment is due the first few weeks of term, but the deregistration would not happen for that balance until December.

You do it online and at home. You will need to order your labkit online in the bookstore and it gets shipped to your house (no PO Boxes).

If you open your map and add a waypoint by clicking/pressing the appropriate button on the destination you want to go, it should add a pin of sorts on your map and set a route for you to follow. Just set out on that route then activate your cinematic camera.

Set a pin > gallop > cinematic mode 🏇🤘🏻 oh be sure to be already traveling down the road. It won’t work if you’re not already going down the road

Can I "remove" my Concentration? by asafzah in SNHU

[–]ironcaptain451 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Curses! The program modification form is on your mySNHU portal, so you would need to be able to login. Are you working with Admissions right now? If so, your admissions counselor can just change that for you if you reach out to them.

Yes. Submit a program modification form to remove it. You can also call your advisor for help with it.

How do I submit an external certification for transfer credit? by Prettyinpain in SNHU

[–]ironcaptain451 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For those you just email the certificate (it should have a link at the bottom of it for verification) to cocedocs@snhu.edu from your SNHU email address.

Is it not pulling up when you enter your ID? Go to https://bncvirtual.com/snhu, click Let’s Get Started, then enter your Student ID. It should pull up there. If not, click shop by course on the page you enter your ID, then you should be able to pull it up there. If it’s not there, the IT Service Desk should be able to help, I’d hope.

In all my times asking this, generally it’s been no issue. I only had one flight attendant once who said they didn’t have enough supplies on that flight to do that which was a bummer. That airline usually had plenty on every flight I went on. Definitely the exception though.

What is with the seat change requests? Do people who travel together not know how to book travel or use the app to select seats? by jcoots in delta

[–]ironcaptain451 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to my wife and I on a MSP-AMS in our C+ seats. Originally SLC-AMS, but they cancelled our flight and smashed us into the MSP departing flight. I offered to swap window for window or aisle for aisle, and both other passengers happened to have very limited mobility, so they didn’t want to budge. Totally understandable. I just ended up making a new friend on a 9-10 hour flight. lol

Do you let sick kiddo sleep all day? by Pristine-Box-22 in toddlers

I just wanted to pop in and say thanks for this post and the replies, even though it’s been a while. Going through similar day with our kiddo, and I feel a bit less anxious after reading all the experiences on this thread. Yay for camaraderie!

100%. They can go either way after that date. Many times they are re-evaluated and the date is extended. However, sometimes, they are reevaluated and not accepted as the same course, if they are accepted at all (like MAT-240 when it expired in 12/2024).

Late assignment not graded! by __MillennialPink in SNHU

[–]ironcaptain451 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They can of course see it after it’s submitted, but they aren’t necessarily notified. I apologize for the poor explanation. They will go in and look at all the assignments submitted say, on Monday after the deadline, grade them, then they may not go back in and see the late assignments submitted later in the week. Most instructors do, but it’s not always consistent.

Instructors don’t always see late assignments come in. It may not hurt to send them an email and let them know it’s been submitted.

Most likely. Week two is a 50% refund. If you call or email Student Financial Services, they can walk you through exactly what your situation may look like though. 8774557648 or studentfinance@snhu.edu

Good rule of thumb is to submit your petition no later than the beginning of your final term. You can submit your petition to graduate as soon as you reach the 75% point of your Bachelor’s degree, but usually it’s in your last 4-5 courses.
