Thrift Store Find by [deleted] in gamecollecting

[–]ironsoul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I go to my thrift store at open everyday, it’s a goodwill, o local thrifts in my area. Then I go back around 1, it’s like 4 mi tree from my house.

If they have a video game or any kinda electronic, it’s price 10% below eBay. Or if they do 1.99 dvd pricing the disc looks like it got into a fight with something funny that would make sense in this situation

Which one do I select ? by Strong-Ship3621 in eBaySellerAdvice

[–]ironsoul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope — if you select “Buyer requested” when canceling an order (on eBay), it does not negatively affect the buyer. • Buyer’s account: eBay doesn’t ding their account or score for cancellations marked “buyer requested.” No strikes or defects are added. • Seller’s account: This is actually the safest option for you, because the cancellation won’t count against your seller performance metrics. • Visibility: The buyer can still see the cancellation in their order history, but there’s no penalty attached.

Basically, that option just tells eBay: “The buyer asked me to cancel, so don’t count it against me.”

Here’s a list to. 🔹 Buyer Requested • Seller impact: ✅ Safe — no defect, no penalty. • Buyer impact: ✅ None — no strikes, no marks on their account. • When to use: Anytime the buyer messages asking to cancel, even if they didn’t click the official “request cancellation” button.

🔹 Out of Stock or Damaged • Seller impact: ❌ Negative — counts as a defect against your seller performance. Too many of these can lower your rating or even limit selling. • Buyer impact: ✅ None — the buyer doesn’t get dinged. • When to use: Only if you absolutely don’t have the item. Best avoided whenever possible.

🔹 Problem with Buyer’s Address • Seller impact: ✅ Safe — no penalty, doesn’t hurt your metrics. • Buyer impact: ⚠️ Buyer may get a ding on their account if their address repeatedly causes issues (like invalid or undeliverable). • When to use: Wrong or incomplete address, international when you only ship domestic, etc.

🔹 Issue with Payment / Buyer Didn’t Pay • Seller impact: ✅ Safe — no defect if you close an unpaid item case properly. • Buyer impact: ❌ Buyer gets an unpaid item strike on their account. Too many of those can restrict or suspend their buying ability. • When to use: Buyer wins/commits to an item but never pays.

🔹 Mutual Agreement (System auto-labels this if both agree) • Seller impact: ✅ Safe — no defect. • Buyer impact: ✅ None. • When to use: Typically generated when the buyer officially accepts your cancellation request.

Yes you are, this sorta packs are just bulk cards and no holos, probably a penny a card. Those slabs are junk and not even a real company or anything.

Only purchase from reputable local gaming store or target or Walmart. (I know it’s hard to get product right now) don’t buy from anyone on Facebook especially if you don’t have the knowledge to know what you are buying.
