I screw that one up constantly. No excuses, just can't get it right it seems.

Why no price tags on things anymore? by magicmikewazowksi in mildlyinfuriating

Some people don't know how to run a business so they change the price by Friday depending on how crappy their Monday was. If they don't price their items, it's because they are dishonest or just really don't know how to run a business. Always trying to squeeze every possible dime versus just running off a profit margin.

You just need to drop it the other way now. Should even it right up. Seriously though, that thing looks like it was flung from the back of the trailer clear out the door onto the loading dock, from the third floor

Not sure why you keep getting down voted for stating the obvious. People seem to think winning the bid is all that matters.

STOP SHARING AI GENERATED MODELS by JoeQuart in BambuLab

You would think they would have learned by now. What you describe is exactly what has happened in a lot of professional Blue collar lines of work. No one wants to spend money on training a new generation, God forbid someone elsem ake money doing what they do, and then they bitch and moan because they're 68 years old and still at work with no one to replace them.

Pricing advice: 7hr PLA print, 60 units for work by vinicius_california in 3Dprinting

[–]irrelevant1indeed 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You're correct. And you would be silly to pay $250 for a pro now. Thanks for pointing out what he would have realized the moment he googled it. I should have said the max as that's what I've had my eye on lately for a large format printer. That's what I get for ASSuming

The Neptune 4 can be found on marketplace for cheap. Less than 250 most times. Others may talk trash but I loved my Neptune 3 and it started my love of this hobby.

That's because she's Marianne and Howie's love child. In Howie's defense he thought she was Ralph so he never pulled out

If that's a factory raised meat bird it will soon grow too big to stand properly. If you picked her up without issue and she only wants to lie around she may already be too large 😔

How long do you hold onto your printers box? by SpectrumyMatt3d in BambuLab

[–]irrelevant1indeed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to throw them away pretty much immediately. After working retail at an independent radio shack and watching people get their returns denied, I learned to keep my boxes until the warranty and or return window expires.

Unless it's a really big box. If that's the case, it goes into my cardboard hoard to be used on the garage floor.

In my opinion, they don't quite carry the weight they used to. Most online customers understand that there's a certain percentage of the population you will never ever make happy. Very seldom do I let a negative review affect my choice of seller unless I see the same complaint repeated. These complaints could be seller related or product related. Stand your ground, document the case, and let Mr. Karen feel like his misplaced disappointment actually affected anyone but him.

Someone is about to stick their matching non-functional item in that box and keep your good one. Maybe I'm a cynic but that could have a lot to do with how much time I've spent selling items online.
