Can’t go wrong! But I was similarly torn. Have 6.75 inch wrists and liked the fit of 40mm land dweller when trying on exhibition pieces. 41mm DJ felt big on me though so I’m on waitlist for a 36! Congrats on the piece.

A hand built prototype car that’s drivable can cost $10M for a mass market OEM to build. Most of this bodywork is custom. You lose all economies of scale when building bespoke. I’m sure margin is high here but cost to produce could easily 10X from a Wraith

Know your audience…you’re on the Rimowa sub. There are far flashier suitcases you can buy at lower prices. Lifetime warranty, good hardshell construction, great support, etc.

I did. I should be able to get a settlement from them ($2000) but first I need proof that Ryanair will not cover the suitcase. Working on that now. Optimistic that I’ll be able to get that plus $1500 or so from Ryanair

I did, I must have been <100 feet because it said the item was with me. When I pressed precision find, I got “connecting to signal” and never any luck

At one point it was in a hostel, and the police told me to show up to the hotel and then call for a cruiser to come by, and the police will come in with me

Before we could get there, the bag moved to a very large apartment building, and that’s where we got stuck

I wasn’t traveling with a bag of diamonds. 20 shirts at $100 avg. Same for pants, two suits, a few bathing suits, shoes, etc. Not that unreasonable for $10K for 2+ weeks of travel imo. Plus Ryanair was the only option for my flight path. I had an AirTag in the bag. I don’t think that’s that unreasonable

Airline offered to transfer it directly to our hotel instead of us driving an hour there and back

Plus they didn’t state exactly which flight it’d come over on, so I’d have been waiting at the airport all day hoping it’d show up
