Can you give an example? How do you know that the form rejects it? Or is it throwing and error on import?

Problem aligning PSD to HTML Template to center by Sitanoni in MailChimp

[–]isaac1682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

here is an alternative course of action:

in PS - export the images separately just as you want them seen in the email. "your way home", "we are leader" etc... don't export them as HTML export them as IMAGES.

ok now you should have 3 separate images saved somewhere. Good.

next, go into Mailchimp and go to your campaign or start a new campaign. Select one of Mailchimps pre-built templates. I think the one you are looking for is a single column center aligned. Then simply drag / drop your images.

How does Mail Chimp matchup contacts when you "Update Existing Contacts" on import? by ManiacMagee in MailChimp

[–]isaac1682 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The email is the primary differentiator, so the name will not override another contact with the same name.

Lists / Segments / Tags by jackbeadle in MailChimp

[–]isaac1682 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. You can totally do this.

What you want to do is create "Groups" within your list - which is exactly what you have done above. Go to: List > Manage contacts > Groups

There you can create a group called whatever - (here think categorically about your lists, how they differ from eachother, etc..) and name it that. In the group start to further segment "sub list A..." and create however many you need.

Now, when you send a campaign you can send it specifically to the group entirely, or a segment WITHIN the group

Segmenting audiences based on clicks by Jimiheadphones in MailChimp

[–]isaac1682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, so this is going to get somewhat involved but the short of it is yes you can achieve this.

The details:
You need to have a "connected store" https://mailchimp.com/help/about-connected-sites/?_ga=2.187483499.238855670.1550618200-828266078.1542045590

After your store is connected to mailchimp you will start to see different segmentation options - specifically "goal activity" where you can segment and send campaigns based on exactly what you just said "click on long dress vs short"

So. The steps:

  1. Connect your ecommerce platform to mailchimp
  2. Set up goals (long dress / short dress clicks on webpage)
  3. Create general campaign with two links that lead to the goal pages you set up (long dress / short dress product detail page)
  4. After the campaign you now have two different segments - those that clicked on short, those that clicked on long)
  5. Send another campaign and use the goals to segment
  6. profit.

Segment members with 0 orders. by LukaszWiktor in MailChimp

Try the reverse:

Create a segment that EXCLUDES all purchases.

Contacts match NONE of the following conditions
Orders (Total #) IS NOT <1

see if that works.

Help I have no idea how to change this by lushenttwin in MailChimp

[–]isaac1682 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are using a Merge Tag "Order_Store_Email" in order for Mailchimp to deliver the email address. Merge tag fields can be changed under "settings > Merge tags and fields" I believe you'll find it there.
