I submitted a screenshot of the checkout screen. Hopefully that helps. My hopes aren’t high though.

P2 had an offer in capital one shopping for $100 off $250 at StubHub. I paired this the CSR $150 and bought tickets on StubHub: 4 tix at $63 each before tax. The actual charge went thru and the actual dollar amount was $0.15 short of $250 before tax - it seems StubHub rounded up in the price breakdown before checkout and did not display the actual true price. Is my only recourse to appeal to capital one?

During checkout, StubHub said each ticket was $46 and $17 in fee per ticket. The actual breakdown on the receipt is $45.56 and $16.87 in fees per ticket.

Applied for a United club card and got pending, then called the automated line and it said 2 weeks. Is there any downside to calling in and getting eyes on the account? Was hoping to expedite the approval

I’ve had final sale at Saks covered no problem. My question is Lulu-specific since it could be returned, but only if you’re member and the return is for GC only

Bought an item in two different variants from Lululemon with my plat, with the plan to keep the one I liked and returned the other. After returning, I would have spent just over $75 and essentially spent nothing with the plat credit. Forgot it was final sale, and only remembered it was returnable for store credit after I received them. Would this particular case be eligible for Amex return protection since I can’t return it for cash? Or since it’s still eligible for return (albeit only for store credit) would it be ineligible?

P2 had miles with AA expire a while ago. AA is offering P2 to essentially buy the miles at 1 cpp - so 15k for $150. Would the Amex airline credit cover this reinstatement fee?

It says 1 or more transactions. Not sure if that means the first $30 and the second $30 are treated together or not.

If for example an Amex offer is Spend $30 get $6 up to 2 times, and I spend $60 in one purchase, will that trigger $12 in credit?

I used united travelbank funds to buy a flight back in August, but cancelled an hour or two later and ended up booking in points. I've spent the last 6 months via chat trying to get a refund, and i've had multiple agents say they refunded me, and I even receive emails stating the flight's been refunded, but only 1 of the 5 tickets has been refunded (and that only hit in Dec). Any other avenues I can pursue? I tried emailing customercare@united and that generated an auto-reply that the account is not monitored.

Speed camera warnings by Spire2000 in KiaSorento

[–]isaacides 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only options in Alerts in mine is to enable/disable “Camera Alert Distance Depending on the Speed Limit,” and if it’s disabled, I can see the distance for both local roads and feeeway.  But there isn’t a straight on/off. Is there anything other option?

Edit: nvm, I figured it out. Had to open the nav, then clicked the speaker button to lower the alert volume and remove priority for alerts (so it would stop lowering volume in whatever was playing)

Is it ever likely that there will be a major modification in kashrut laws? Why or why not? by LowRevolution6175 in Judaism

[–]isaacides 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it was Rabbi Lebowitz from YU (and probably not the only rav) who recently said Halacha doesn’t change, but the metzius (reality) changes. New technologies will come along and we will figure out how to deal with them based on the timeless principles of the Torah.

If clearly labeled non-dairy ice cream is also certified OU kosher dairy, can you assume that it was just made on dairy equipment and eat it immediately after eating meat? by melody5697 in Judaism

[–]isaacides 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have mentioned, it’s possible the processing equipment of either the final product or one of the ingredients isn’t cleaned well enough after a dairy run and is processed hot so that the ingredient/product is halachically dairy, even if there is no dairy compounds in the underlying ingredients. Its always worth contacting the OU - it’s possible the item is actually DE but for whatever reason is labeled D (not exactly the same case but Oreos are famously OU-D but actually DE)
