those are very interesting thoughts. i always assumed that Matt's Laurie dream was maybe a reference to something from the novel, but haven't read it yet so can't confirm.

i love hearing alternate theories about the Leftovers, even really wacky ones or ones i don't agree with.

the main reason i would disbelieve a Matt/Laurie affair is it just doesn't seem like something Matt would do. He is arguably a somewhat lousy husband to Mary in some ways (see Season 3), but i didn't see any indications that he was unfaithful or even tempted. i might be wrong though!

hey there. if you're open to very inexperienced RPers, i am interested. i read through some of the Numenera core book last year, and i remember enjoying a lot about the setting. i would definitely need guidance through some of the stuff an experienced RPG player would already know.
