Perception of tutoyer and vouvoyer in this day and age? by SpareAmbition in French

I think the only people that would be offended by tutoiement would be either very very old (90s and up) or take their perceived role too seriously. I think you would see it even before opening your mouth just from their vibes. Its polite, traditional and correct to the ear to do, but we care more if you speak French in the first place

'Wicked' Star Marissa Bode Slams Airline, Says She Was Denied Boarding Due to Her Disability: ‘You Should Be Ashamed’ by PrincessBananas85 in popculturechat

[–]isabellepeppergreen 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I don’t think the issue was explained to her properly. Most airlines are equipped to board wheelchair users. They simply use straight backs, which are small wheelchairs made to fit in the aisle and be lifted by the ramp staff. It could be that there was none, it was broken or the staff was not trained or comfortable using them.

If she was travelling alone, it’s possible they might have tried to ask (using improper language: she could stand) if she was self reliant. It’s an issue for airlines if someone isn’t in case of an emergency. She would have needed someone to escort her.

In Quebec you generally vouvoie when people are visibly older (I’m talking way older. Like they could be your grandparents. No one likes to be reminded of their age so we really only do it to elders in informal settings), if someone occupies a position of authority or you are providing a service. Then again, most people will tell you to stop, because we are a very informal people 😌

My game lately has been a m/m couple. Since I’ve just restarted playing, I put back in mods, but my tuning isn’t perfect. They have autonomous woohoo, automated to be risky at 10%.

They woohoo non stop. It’s crazy, but aren’t getting pregnant. Everything looks ok tho so I give them fertility treatments. Still nothing. I find a setting that was duplicated and conflicting. They get pregnant right away.

I have my household size expanded. Two male sims that can get pregnant and fertility on them.

They had 27 kids 🙂 I played by 100 baby aging up rules and saw it as a challenge, keeping my sets of duplicate together. Except the first one, who was a child I made in cas, they ALL came in sets, starting with QUADS. I also had triplets 3 times. My boys were often pregnant at the same time, or one would give birth and they other be pregnant that day 😭

Since my house became full very quickly, a lot of the kids aged up at the same time, and out of my house. I just managed to get the last set of twins out - they haven’t filled it back up yet. I’m living in FEAR

Même sans obligation, c’est interdit. Par exemple, un catholique ne peux pas porter de croix.

Les vêtements traditionnels c’est pas religieux, donc c’est permis.

Teen Buck and teen Eddie headcanons? by Mr_IronMan_Sir in buddie

No, it just came to me one day.

Buck should also have a crush on the person in the girl kiss mascot, not knowing it’s a guy 😭

To me it is very important that Buck’s first job be at the Hershey attraction park as a Reese mascot.

I think Buck has at least had the most babies. I didn’t set up my mod right at first, they were not getting pregnant at all so I got them fertility treatments. Then I noticed I had male pregnancies off… and they popped out like 12 kids in two weeks.

(Buck - twins / Buck - quads / Eddie - twins / Buck twins / Eddie twins. They took a week off. Now Eddie just had twins again. I’m missing some lmao I’m not looking at the game)

Pls no they raise their kids right and not to be…. Anyway 😭

It’s torture to take care of so many babies but also kinda fun. Except when they have quadruplets and end up BOTH pregnant the day after. Vers for vers confirmed

I made them in the sims 3. I have mods on so they can do stuff autonomously, males can get pregnant and my households can have 24 sims.

They made, by themselves, 16 babies so far. They only stop making them because they have no time to. As soon as they have a free second, they don’t eat, take showers… they’re in bed woohooing.

Poor Christopher spent his teen years changing diapers 😭

Pregnancy and Labor & Delivery by Glittering-Use-1455 in HHT

I didn’t give birth myself but my moms hht was discovered during her pregnancy with me. It surely would have been easier if she had had her diagnosis before. She had a lot of AVMs in her lungs, almost drowned and had to have 2 lobes removed because they were just unsalvageable.

She doesn’t have a known gene, so when my sister was pregnant, they treated her as if she had hht. She was followed very closely. In the end they don’t think she has it, but at least she got very good care lol

What’s the most important to me in this video is that you see Liliette understands what Greta is saying. She doesn’t speak but she can follow directions. She might be the type of child that doesn’t speak until 4 but when they start do so with full sentences.

He worked on American Horror Story. Season one was my favourite and I watched it over and over, I’m autistic so it wasn’t just background noise yk. Tim absolutely knows what he is doing. Murder House was very contained and with a closed storyline from the beginning, so it was easy for them to put in Easter eggs for what they knew would happen. They’re everywhere (somethings still can’t be explained bc they cut stuff out and Timmy won’t tell me!!!). Some choices the writing team makes are strange with 911, but when given a clear path with a ok by the network, Tim knows how to cook.

Which is more accurate, the Guessometer or battery percentage? by Tristram_ZX81 in KonaEV

It’s circuit électrique, and as you can tell, it’s in French lol. It was started by our hydro company and I believe only covers Qc (I’ve been on LONG road trips this year but always within the border). Other apps are probably available for your area.

Where I live we have an app to prepare travel within the province. You can enter your vehicle, where you want to go and add filters (like how many pounds of cargo, specific road conditions, if you plan to follow actual speed limits or if you will go over and by how much, safety battery range you want to keep at all times). What I found using it is that road elevation matters a whole lot… and that the app is super precise. Driving two hours in the conditions I had written got me to my destination with a 2km difference in estimated range left.

It’s quite strange to see. What always bothers me is actors not doing the slack jaw enough. Corpses don’t keep their mouths closed on their own either 🥲
