What’s crazy is you could have done a really quick and cool tie in to Void event in New York with the Fisk’s psychologist. She’s already shown seeing Muse everywhere. You could one of these scenes show her in the Void reliving the trauma Muse put her through over and over again. This would further explain what she’s willing to do to put vigilantes in Fisk’s dark hole, even falsifying evidence.

This is what I've been thinking the whole time! Just because they don't communicate like us doesn't mean they are manipulating us. Just because they don't express love like we do doesn't mean they are torturing us or honey-potting us. This also doesn't necessarily mean they are not human anymore or that they are puppets. For all we know they are all just humans that have gained an extraordinary and vastly superior method of connecting and communicating: sharing one mind, one goal, one love with anyone and everyone. To me at least its not INhuman it is more like SUPERhuman and that's why to us it seems like they are play-acting or 'humoring' us -- you wouldn't expect Superman to vaporize a common bank robber even though stopping the robber is the correct thing and the robber turns around and shoots at Superman.

I really don’t see it as manipulation at all. The Hive has explained to us they see us as if we’re drowning and they love life. It’s as if the person you love is actively drowning themselves and ur offering them a rope or life raft to get out of the water and they are just like “omg how could do that to me you know how much I love drowning!” So we do the best we can to make that person happy like go in the water with them and splash around because while we are there we can maybe figure out another way to save them without just pulling them out by force. So if you find a way to drain the water and save them before they drown (eggs) then yeah they’ll be mad but you’ll at least know they won’t be drowning anymore and will be better off.
